• Nude Roommates

Would anyone know where I can find possible roommates that would be ok with naturism? I'm in search for one. I'm having a difficult time finding roommates that are ok with it.

I think it is more important to find a roomate you can "live" with. Just because you find a nudist that is looking for a roommate does not mean you can live with them,or vica versa.

Find someone you CAN live with, and then ease into the fact that you are a nudist. If you make a true freind they will accept you for what you are.

Good luck

Be careful or you might get "Avocado" for a roomate!

Trust me when I say I've been thru the roomate thing MANY times and it rarely works out. Either they're BIZARRE or irresponsible. BUT if you posted on ROOMATES.COM or in your local newspaper you may have success. Or for that matter, post at the colleges or for flight attendants around you.
F.A. are ideal because they're never home. In the newspapers, most times you can post over the net but you have to pay for it also. State right out NATURIST looking for roomate or naturist household. OR once you find someone and you meet up bring it up that the house is CLOTHES OPTIONAL.
Another idea is, as one said, bring it up slowly. My brother-in-law lived with us for about 2 yrs and when he moved in we had the talk. He wasn't crazy about the idea but after time of being slowly exposed to this lifestyle he became more used to it. After a time he would even watch TV with us, while we were nude. We ended up bringing him to a c/o beach but he stayed dressed the entire time but at least he was more relaxed about seeing nudity around the house.
I know it's not an answer but at least you have a start.

I have had many roommates in the past and none were oppossed to nudity. Maybe I got lucky or I never roomed with a person who was outside my subculture.

One group of people that don't seem to have problems with nudity are art students.
Another group are people into Wicca or other Pagan beliefs.

The last actual roommate I had as my wife and I were dating, was a girl from Cheyenne Wy. She knew I was a nudist before she moved in and had no problem with it and after a while , she would also walk around the house nude herself.

When I had stripper roommates in the Early 90's, they would walk around toppless a lot but they never walked around nude, and when I asked one of them why she said,"I make a living dancing nude in front of strangers, why should I do it for free?"

Anyway ski-man, in my experience, there are more people that are O.K. with it than not.
