Has anyone actually gone swimming at a hotel pool in the nude (other than at a nudist hotel)?

I never have, but I've thought about it a few times, especially at night when it seemed "deserted".

My wife and I got naked in the outdoor hot tub at a motel in Fla. late night.the tub and pool was insight of all the motel rooms,a three story motel,and I really do think we got seen by a few folks coming in to their rooms or looking out ,but never heard any complaints, from them or management.

I was in Miami for two weeks in 1972. Every night late I had a nude swim in the ocean, but on a stormy night I did it in the pool. I liked my late swimming all the time.

I have in the past before we started using our camping trailer and later a motor home. It was usually at a motel where the pool was outdoors and not in too public a place. Did it quite often and always late at nite.

As a matter of fact, yes I have, going on almost 25 years ago now, and long enough ago that I thought "nudists" were just mythical... It was even an outdoor pool just outside the hotel. It was of course, easily seen by all the rooms on that side of the hotel, but not so well at about 2:00 a.m. in the morning.... And, it wasn't a very busy/popular hotel at the time.

Growing up in the culture that I did, skinny-dipping was something mostly just talked about (if that), it was certainly never actually done - at least not as far as I knew, and I REALLY wanted to actually DO it.

I happened to be at a hotel (late) one night with a good friend of mine that I thought wouldn't mind (we were both about 17 at the time). He and I had actually dared each other to "streak" late at night on the edge of town before, although neither of us actually did (due basically entirely to another friend's objections, I think.... - wow the confessions I'm typing here, anyway....).

Given the background, and the reality that we were in a pool at 2:00 a.m, completely dark (no lights on, not sure why not), and nobody else around, and my intense desire to skinny-dip, having never done it before, I decided to ask him if he'd mind. As I recall, he didn't even answer, but his suit was off before mine (LOL), tossed on the bank and although in the darkness I could see little, I realized that he WAS skinny-dipping. In turn, I took my suit off and tossed it on the bank and swam all over the place for a short while. Although I was scared and nervous about it, so it didn't last very long, I really loved the feeling of being suitless - it was a shockingly wonderful feeling to me. I have no idea who he's told about this (we haven't talked in over a decade, and never even talked about the skinny-dipping ever again), but other than whomever he's told and those that I've told (almost all post-naturist awareness), nobody was the wiser, so far as I know.

We left the pool after that, and hit the locker room (to change) that also happened to have a built-in sauna/steam room. I was shocked when he completely stripped off again (now in the indoor light) and enjoyed the sauna for a bit. Very telling of where I was at, at the time, in the light like that, I couldn't and didn't even join him, as I was too busy being shocked that he could be that "open" and not "embarrassed". Funny, now, huh?....

In any case, this was my first skinny-dipping experience, and ONLY skinny-dipping experience for the next 20 years - man, it was a lean 20 years (lol). I've since tried to make up for lost time, but never again at a hotel

Not swimming in the pool, but I stayed at a hotel in New Orleans with an outdoor hottub a few years ago. One night I couldn't sleep, so I went down to soak for a while and stripped off after I was in the tub. It was reasonably dark, although there was enough light to see by. It was in full view of a dozen or so rooms, but if anyone complained, I never heard about it.

I do try, if I have a choice during business trips, to stay near nudist venues. Even if I don't take advantage of it, the opportunity to get away and relax for a bit is good.

I ALWAYS skinnydip at hotels/motels/resorts. The issue isn't so much if but when and timing is EVERYTHING! Ialways swim laps in the morning around 5am and hotels (etc) often don't lock the pool areas (post signs swim at own risk) so at that hour I have only a half a dozen times had other people in the pool with me, and I didn't dress. My wife and I have found that the more expensive the resort the smaller the suit and thus if you are staying at the Hanna Maui Inn at $950 a night they even have a nude beach for you to enjoy. But if you do happen into the pool nobody says anything. I have been swimming at Ritz Carltons, Penisulas's, you name it in cities, and resorts. just keep in mind costs and timing.

Yes, I swam briefly in the nude in a hotel indoor pool. Only my wife was present.
However, it came to my mind that the pool could well be under security video cameras or on a security inside television monitoring station.

Not wanting to risk the possibility of having my wife and I evicted from the hotel, I put my suit back on.

I have gone swimming nude in a hotel pool. It was an indoor pool and I checked to be sure there were no video cameras. In addition, I picked a time just before closing so there was not likely to be anyone else coming to swim. A friend came shortly after me and didn't notice I was nude until I got out of the pool.

Haven't been in a hotel pool nude, but have been in a hotel hot tub nude late in the evening. At the hotel I did this in, you could see anybody coming long before they could get close enough to see.

In a former life (read that career,I traveled frequently around the US,Canada,Mexico,and Europe. On my travels I always tried to swim nude in the hotel or health club pools. I would choose times close to closing or very early in the morning. I usually removed my suit once in the pool in case there were video cameras monitoring the pool. I would swim my laps without worry. There was one health club in Houston whose pool was on the top floor of the club and I never saw another person swimming there when I chose to visit the club. I spent an hour or more swimming laps without worry.

Now my nude swims are limited to mountain streams or lakes or the visit to the nude beach. Sometimes in the summer, I am able toswim nude in private pools, but not often.

Did once at a B&B pool in Austria or Germany.

Went nude in a few hot tubs.

Regularly swam nude early in the morning at our apartment pool in Singapore. Washed my car, too, nude in the basement garage early in the mornings with no one but the guards around.

I'd be concerned if someone else came in-and that could certainly happen. If someone else came in or even saw-it could create serious issues with the hotel. I wouldn't do it. I don't think it is appropriate.

I was able to go nude twice at different indoor pools in Germany. The first time was in the morning with no one else around. The second was at a different pool a couple years later. The evening before I had noticed a guy swimming nude and didn't get a second glance from anyone. So the next morning I did the same thing. No one was there to begin with so I ditched my suit and started swimming laps. Two or three people showed up during that time and if they noticed that I was nude nothing was said. It a most enjoyable experience. The saunas in Germany are great too. All of the ones that I have visited have been coed, and clothing optional.
