Nude Sports

Apologies if this has been covered before, but I was wondering about playing various sports nude. Which sports do you reckon could be done naked and what absolutely can not.? Are there any that you feel are BETTER played nude than clothed? If one sport were to become 'clothing optional' (when played professionaly) which one would you like it to be?

I reckon there are many sports where clothing is worn only for 'decency' so as not to offend anyone and do not actualy need clothes to do. Of course there are sports where at least some clothing is needed to protect parts of th body from the rigours of the activity but these are fewer than you'd think.

Well Andy I have always thought that just about anything you do clothed can be done nude as long as you take proper precautions. I personally have played volley ball, (sand and pool) basket ball, horse shoes, and dodge ball. I would not be opposed to trying many sports as long as every one playing was nude so we are all on the same page with the same advantages and disadvantages. After all the original olympics were played nude.

The only sports I think couldn't be played nude would be hockey and American football(talking about tackle, not flag or two-hand touch).

Nope, Simon those can be played nude, too.

Played hockey nude (and yes, it was a bit chilly).

As far as American Football goes I have played it without pads (full on tackle), haven't done so nude - but it could be done.

There would have to be a big penalty for pulling the wrong "flag"!

i don't think i would want to play baseball nude. it would be okay with a protective cup, but then you are not really nude. softball might be okay, but still might be a little risky

Water Polo... men have been known to lose a suit while playing this game--ask me why, if you can't figure it out. It's much better nude.

I enjoy playing tennis nude. Have also played volleyball nude (both beach volleyball & pool volleyball) .

I never thought about having to slide. i guess you could have a no slide rule. the catcher might also have problems playing nude!!!
