  • Is there nude photos of you on the Internet?

Is there nude photos of you somewhere in cyberspace?

I don't post any of my self anywhere, but I did find myself in photos on Spencer Turnick's website, on a website of an artist similar to Turnick, and on my local AANR travel club webpage.

I'm not asking for nude photo of anyone, And I don't want anyone to PM me nude photos of themselves. I'm just wondering how many of us ended up somewhere in cyberspace in the buff?

To some people it is a big deal. If you are a teacher, work with kids, involved in a church, have
family members who would be hostile to nudism, other reasons, you may not want nude photos of youself floating around the internet.

Some people only few comfortable being nude around a few friends and aquaitances.

Like any other group, you can't paint all nudists with one brush on how they feel about certain subjects.

It probably scares a few customers off...
        Then again, maybe not.

Even though I belong to a group that may be hostile to my nude activities I still have my photo in cyberspace. But I'm careful not to show my face. I guess it's a compromise between wanting to be able to express myself, but wanting to keep my job as well.

          Cheers.

May everyone enjoy a happy nude year in 2007.

I responded YES. I won a contest sponsered by Desert Shadows and my letter was published in their summer newsletter. I gave them a picture of me/us at the resort for the article.

Do I worry about people seeing me? NO, my nudist hobby is my business and has nothing to do with my professional life. My coworkers all know I partake in the naturism and think it's cool. If anyone ever saw my picture and tried to make an issue of it I would be ready for the fight.

                  Hi Maliakei,
Yes, I remember your picture issue. It's great that CFI handled it so promptly for you.

I see Palm Springs on your info: how often are you there? Hubby and I really fell in love with the area and are planning our third trip there in April. We want to use our free nights at Desert Shadows before they start the remodel in June and things are all torn up.

I understand your caution in telling others about your interest in naturism. Some people will take info like that and use if for harmful purposes...WHY? Who knows, but they do. Many of them just don't get it, which is sad.

                  Aloha!
                  Dee

As for this poll, my reply would most likely be somewhere between Yes & No since there aren't too many nude photos of me, however, it only takes one photo to be circulated and forwarded on and on..

If you weren't previously aware, a nude of me was found on CFI awhile back by a someone who lied to CFI claiming to have asked my permission as being okay to have it posted. It was taken down immediately per my request. CFI was quick to do this, and by no means was I upset at CFI, it's just that once anything goes up on the net then there's just no controlling where it goes from there.

So, yeah I've told some former co-workers about my being a naturist but I felt it necessary to be careful as to how & who I was approaching the subject matter to..[/QUOTE

I havnt a real problem with having my few pics online, as I believe that my private life is just that, and if people that know me dont like it well thsts up to them as they are entitled to their opinion. I also understand that some people for reason of job etc prefer not to have their on line, like anything in this life its a personal choice

I agree, I have pics online as well. But I do understand for those who choose not to because of their profession, for instance, a teacher, a police officer or even a politician just to name a few.

The townhomes across the naked bridge are beautiful. While we were there in October I walked through two units that were for sale. If I'd had an extra 400K laying around, I would have sure wanted to buy one!

We will be there in early April (hopefully) and if our travel plans should mesh..it would be delightful to meet you! I alway enjoy the opportunity to meet new people, especially ones that I've chatted with online. I've met quite a few ladies from a woman's forum I'm on and it's alway fun.

Yes, I agree that mean people will often find things to use to tear down others for no reason. It's a shame they feel they have to do that. Live and let live comes to mind...especially when there is no fear of harm from the other person's private actvities.

If people choose to have nude (non-sexual) photos online, it shouldn't fall to anyone else to judge them. That is my feeling on the subject!

                        Take care!
                        Dee

                        To answer your question # 1 :

I frequent PS less than I'd like to and plan to do so in 2007 since owning a townhome in the quiet phase at Desert Shadows During the last year my energy & time has been focused on my work which wouldn't allow worthwhile travel time. It would be nice to meet you so maybe that might be possible?

I have had such fond memories of Desert Shawdows way back when it was just a small resort. My first visit to Palm Springs seemed like visiting a magical place while traveling through Stovepipe Wells (Death Valley) and other small oasis' which are very rare to see. The mountain view in Palm Springs, as seen from the big pool at Desert Shadows, reminds me of so many parts of Hawaii..

                        To answer your Question # 2 :

I believe many people who do not understand the beauty of naturism and want to make it out to be a negative thing are just plain mean & ignorant. This goes the same for those who want to destroy and hurt others who are not within the so-called 'norm' of society. It's really sad, but then again, I'm actually glad nudism is a small niche because then it wouldn't seem as special because everyone would be there. So, I suppose there are other clubs out there who think the same about their club? Sadly, there are always going to be mean people out there who enjoy stirring up trouble. We just have to keep strong and do what's right for us to remain happy. It could very well be that some people are just unhappy and miserable so they will do what it takes to destroy & twist something good to sound perverted or whatever! Oh well!! Their loss!!

                        Aloha, maliakei

As far as I know, no one has taken my mug whilst I was naked. And thus far, I have not seen myself on the internet.

As I have mentioned before, I do not even like looking at my picture. Would I want it floating around cyberspace? Probably not.

I don't often share photo's of myself, nude or otherwise, online, and when I do I tend to make them quite low quality so they can't be easily manipulated or less likely that people would want to use them elsewhere. It wouldn't bother me if someone I knew saw one on a site such as this, because it might give us something to talk about, another shared interest, but images can of course be taken and used elsewhere, which isn't nice.
