Felt I had to share this with you all. I've been through here reading but never posted before so here goes. I was just so excited about this.

My roommates left!

In college the chance to take off my clothes only (for me) comes when I take a shower. uggh. It's spring break and everyone here left for home! I've now been nude fro 17+hrs and have until wednsday before I have to put them on again! I don't even have to go out for food, I have it all here. Just 5 days...FIVE WHOLE DAYS! where I don't have to wear a thing! This is so awesome, the feeling is fantastic! The couch is softer, my bed feels warmer and softer...everything feels better! I just turned up the thermostat and off they came! Sorry for all the exclamation marks....I just feel so giddy about all this! [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

That's the best part! I've already gone grocery shopping so I'm all set. I don't have to leave my room at all and I don't have to get dressed until wednsday when they come back early! [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img] I'm not going to be bored at all, I've got TV, fast internet connection and plenty of games and movies, PLUS a research paper to do. I'm set. Typingnude, way to go. I am a college student in Alaska. My spring break is not until the 21st, but I am ready for it. I just completed a take home midterm in Western Civ and I did the whole exam in the nude. It was a hoot. Have a great time. I love being nude as much as I can. I am getting tired of being cooped up in my home...I am anxious for spring to arrive in Alaska so I can get nekkid outside again. What is your major? [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Once this is over you will obviously be looking for other activities you can enjoy nude...right? Here is a suggestion and how I finally met others that enjoy the same freedoms. I started bicycling in the area with weekend "social" rides that usually included 1 or 2 day rides from bar to bar in small towns in the area. Some of the rides are on old rail trails which are very secluded. The rides frequently finish with the last section riden after dark which frequently ends up being a naked ride. The size of the groups starting the rides is from dozens to thousands and much fewer partaking in the final libations. We enjoyed this casual nudity for years before finding others in the area to form a nudist group. I understand there are similar groups that have swayed to nude events in several sports, good luck.

to typing nude (but others too). It was over 50 years ago that I was in college. I was always a nudist & I didn't let being there really stop it. Within a few days of getting roommates I'd told them I slept naked and preffered being naked as much as possible. After some questions (mostly what's it like, doesn't it bother you around others etc) I started being naked in out dorm room a lot & others got used to it & I'd be in other rooms as well. A FEW others joined me in nudity also. There was only one guy outspoken about my lifestyle who was forever coming up with remarks like, "J---s C----t, don't you ever wear clothes." My answer was always, "Not if I can help it, I don't".

I'd suggest (if you think it'd work" that you remain naked when your roomies return in a few days. Explain how you've been the last several days and see what kind of reaction you get. Their reaction may be one of, "who cares" in which case, you are home free. If not you haven't lost anything by trying & at least they will know your desired lifesyle. But whatever, I'd not keep it a saecret.

My advice would be like the old man, just ask your roommates if they have any problems with you being nude, and that you enjoy the nude life. As I found out last year, it doesn't hurt to ask others, as in my example with my own neighbors. To my surprise, they did not object, so I have been nude outside for the past several weekends, (very nice weather). One of the neighbors walked outside, for the dog, and I know they saw me with no clothes on, for I was working in the back yard, but they did not object. It really doesn't hurt to ask. At least you'll know what their position is. Who knows, maybe they'll join you. If they do object, then maybe you could work out a compromise, like being nude only at certain times, or when no company is expected. I never lived in a colleg dorm, but I did live in the Army barracks, and I did sleep in the nude, but I did not live the life of a nudist, only when the others were gone, such as in your situation. Many years ago, when I lived in a men's dorm at college, a young man, but not my roommate, was always nude in the dorm halls and rooms and everyone was accustomed to the fact that he went without any clothing in the dorm.
I doubt that he asked anyone's permission to be nude, but no one objected to his nudity.

P.S. Each floor of the dorm had a communal shower, so we saw each other nude frequently, so it was no shock to see a dorm member nude.

Very cool.The first time I went nude was at a camping resort. 24hrs straigth compltely nude (if you don't count shoes and sunglasses. It was such a drag to put clothes back on. I drove home without a shirt or shoes on to get back into the connfining feeling of clothes. Can't wait for the good weather to get back outside.

That midterm must have been fun and I see how you're anxious for the weather, winter has been WEIRD here this year. Oh and my major is CIS - Computer Information Systems.

Way to go,TypingNude! For as long as I can remember, I've been getting my gear off practically anytime I'm alone! My wife and kids know I like being nude, but because they aren't nudists, I usually apply the "one article of clothing" rule when they are all around, namely, I wear a pair of shorts only, or a dressing gown only. I've given up wearing underwear at home, and because I sleep nude year round, I make our bed nude every morning, put on a light gown loosely tied at the front when having breakfast, and strip off again to brush my teeth afterwards. I like to leave the bedroom and bathroom doors open when I'm nude. When I come home from work in the evening, I take off all my gear again, before putting on (you guessed it!) one article of clothing. My wife, who is extremely body-conscious and has a poor self-image, used to never be nude outside of the bathroom, or in the dark in bed. She has even been nude with me in the house on a few occasions. I used to hide my nudism, but have found that generally it's better to be frank about it. I've only ever had one hassle, with one of my neighbours. He just doesn't talk to me, because he thinks I'm weird. I can live with that. Anyhow, stay nude, and I've enjoyed typing this nude, too! Computers never complain about you being nude!
