  • Bluebonnet in Texas: positive experiences?

Me and my husband are getting ready to visit there in July or August. Any feedback would be helpful. (It will be our second outing to a nudist resort.)

Although it has been a while since I've been my wife and I have been to Bluebonnet a few times since it is close to us. Every time I have enjoyed the visit. The people are friendly and the place is well maintained.

Lourdes is a sweetheart! She's one of the owners. You will definitely like Bluebonnet.

As Hooked said, Lourdes (and her step-son Edy) are great hosts at Bluebonnet. The club members that I've met when visiting are friendly, too.

I was in Dallas for a long weekend, in early April and visit a nudist friend (another guy) and we decided to hit one of the nudist clubs around Dallas.. I picked BlueBonnet and really enjoyed the place. Very friendly... I still am on their email list of events.

If you visit Bluebonnet over the Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-28, 2007), you can watch, and/or participate in, their "Junk Yard Wars IV" competition. From what I've heard, it's a lot of fun!

Have you considered trying Oaklake Trails? It's just a day-trip from you, near Depew. Mapquest says it's 117 miles.

I ran in the nude race they had there last October. The place and people were great, and I look forward to going back again.

                    CB & Di:
Were you able to make your visit to Bluebonnet as planned? How did it go for you?

I have been there a couple of times, in the Summer of 2001. I had a great time, both times. It was a lot of fun and everyone was really nice. I was there for an auction one day and I still have the flight simulator computer game I got that day. I actually have never played it, but my son really likes it. I highly recommend Bluebonnet to anyone thinking about going there.
