  • Nude Weddings

anyone here have been to and witnessed a nude wedding? I've a number of textiles (gamer friends actually) who think they are creepy. Actually, I think one caught on that I was making light of him. But the rest are creeped out. I know nothing goes on in a nude wedding, but I'd like some actual first hand accounts.

I've been to two nude weddings and a funeral. They were all at nudist resorts. The first wedding happened during a busy convention (I think it was AANR-Midwest) and I didn't know the couple. The second was a couple who had a regular textile wedding for their families and repeated their vows at the resort with their friends. The memorial service was for a long-time resident and friend at Turtle Lake Resort. The weddings were pretty similar to the traditional textile versions except for the dress code.

Why are textiles so creeped out on them? Oh, I understand now. They think there is something wrong with it.

We attended one nude wedding at a health club that had been rented by a nudist travel group. We didn't know the couple. The wedding ceremony was very nicely done. It was more serious than some of the clothed weddings I've attended. If anything, the fact that everyone was nude added a sense of camaraderie that I haven't felt at other weddings.

So...Mosquito Bait...you are a nekkid wedding crasher? But seriously, I envy folks who can experience all of life's great milestones nude. My hat, literally and figuratively, is off to everyone of them!

Neat. If only my friends could see them your way.

Been to three nude weddings, IIRC. One was at the old Birch Acres, a member couple wed there. One was at the Eastern Naturist Gathering -- a very large event -- and the third was the "blessing" (religious) ceremony of a couple who had their legal wedding before a JP a couple of days prior. I think there was one also - this is going back 30+ years, when I was staying at Pine Tree in Maryland.

Formal funerals? No, but we have had several memorial services at Cedar Waters through the years, for members who have passed away.
