Anyone have anything planned?

This weekend a couple we are good friends with is hosting a get-together (as we do once a year, ourselves)

Maine Coast Solar Bares (www.mcsb.ws) has two events planned for October and November in southern Maine...

Anyone else have things going on?

Well, we were guests at a nice house party two weeks ago... last Sunday we had a wonderful gathering of the Maine Coast Solar Bares.

Upcoming - a nude swim this Saturday night - another one Nov 1 with the Solar Bares...

A nice swim/social/dinner at Naturist New Hampshire (www.natnh.com) on December 13

And inbetween those two - just booked a week at Cypress Cove... so -- the events don't stop when the autumn leaves drop.

Well not so fast on the November 1 Solar Bares swim.... that's been cancelled. The facility we used - has closed and been sold, and the new owners plan to remove the indoor pool.

Before anyone jumps in and makes assumptions - it was not pressure from the community, it was not threats from law enforcement or "the radical religious right" - and the Maine Coast Solar Bares did not do anything to get kicked out of the facility..

The owner has sold up and is moving on to other endeavors, the new owners are draining the indoor pool and removing it.

So after around 18-19 years, we have to find a new home.

Planning on some nude shoveling followed by some time in the sauna.

And = the Maine Coast Solar Bares may have already found another place, which is a good thing.

Swim outside of Boston tonight. Heading for Cypress Cove on Monday.

This is the perfect time of year for Pirate's Cove beach in Avila. No coastal fog, the sun is perfectly aligned with the beach through most to the day, it's warm and there are fewer people around Avila and Sycamore Mineral Springs. I'll probably go the days after Thanksgiving and Christmas, and probably one more time in January depending on El Nino...

Well, there was a great weather surprise in TX this weekend. The weather forecast was for great temps and clear skies near Dallas. Since I was heading that any for the weekend anyway, I was able to get a room at our favorite site northwest of Fort Worth. Saturday was great, although the grounds were sparse with mostly residents about. The weekend continued when we got home and the temps were soaring this time of year into the high 70's. Gotta love central Texas...
