  • Fully Nude

Just a quick fun question to get everyone involved...

When do you feel the "most" naked?

To me, it's when I am barefooted. I can be totally clothes free, but once the shoes/sandals come off, I feel totally liberated. Sure, glasses, jewelry, watches are the bare minimum, but once shoes are off, that's it, I am fully naked, lol

I start to feel naked and self conscious when the shirt comes off. I think it goes back to my early teen years when I had more weight on me than what would have been ideal. Today I feel less inhibited the more clothing I shed, and have never been in a social situation where the last thing to go was the shoes. They are always the first. I have kept footwear while riding my bike naked and felt completely naked at the time. So, I guess that for the most part I feel fully nude when barefoot, but also feel the same when footwear has been necessary.

Probably at nudist venues; specifically when I first arrive, get naked (except for sandals) and enter the populated area. The realization that everyone can see me nude usually hits me then; and I become more aware of my nakedness at that moment than any other time.

Ironically, I feel more naked when wearing just footwear, especially socks and shoes. That feeling of fabric or whatever material is involved highlights the fact that everywhere else on my body is completely exposed.

I think it was the time a friend talked me into totally removing all my body hair and pubic hair. We went to our usual nude beach and I felt all eyes were on me, though of course, they likely weren't as the smooth look is hardly unusual. It just felt awkward for me. Plus, it seemed to have been "hairy day" at the beach, or more likely I just never paid much attention to body hair until I didn't have any!

            Same experience here seanotanline !!
I've cycled most of my life and my legs and chest and pubes can get pretty hairy. So every season I have to have my legs waxed, not necessarily to go faster on the bike like the pros. More so because it makes putting sunscreen on my legs faster and easier without all the hair on my legs, and so I can get into my kit faster. And I always have the esthetician wax me all over. The first day on the bike without hair on my leg feels sooo very bare! And the first time at a c/o beach or resort I feel very exposed without hair anywhere! A very unique, very naked, exposed feeling.

I agree with Bob. When I have shoes on I am more aware I am naked than I do when I have on flip flops or go barefooted

When my feet, as well as every other part of my body are bare, outside in Nature.

I was cleaning the pool today. I had some items for the trash, so I walked out the gate to where the trash can usually is, but it is trash pick-up day (assuming the truck will come Memorial Day), so the trash can is down the driveway by the street. It was about this time that I remembered that I was nude, so I didn't make the mistake of walking out to the street and risk offending the neighbors.

I thought about this forum thread. When I am outside nude, do I actually want to feel nude, or is better just to forget that I'm nude?

Regardless of whether I'm at a nudist park, a nude beach, or my own backyard, I generally find that I am no longer consciously aware of being nude within a couple of minutes of taking my clothes off. I guess the only time I feel is nude is immediately after taking my clothes off.

To your point, there are times I have actually walked out the front door without anything on. I'll take a couple of steps and realize I'm naked. I'll make a quick 180 and at least put on some shorts. So far the neighbors haven't said anything, but I'd rather be safe.
This is the first summer, I have actually pushed my limits and have been caught several times. Our Grandson has seem me (he's 22), so I don't get in a big hurry to cover. I am now lounging around the house nude more often now, and in the evening, I'm pretty much naked most of the time.
Once you're naked the majority of the time, it's easy to forget you are not "acceptable" to the general public, and forget you are naked.

For me, a man, it's trousers off, generally. Otherwise, it's everything (except glasses, which I need to see properly.)

I'd have to also say when all I have on is footwear, i.e. tennis shoes especially. It's just the fact that I am so aware of the shoes. Flip flops don't quite feel so heavy or obvious on my feet, but tennis shoes yes - it seems to say to the rest of my body you are naked other than me!

I feel naked most when a friend stops by that I'm not expecting. Or, maybe the pool guy when I'm not expecting him. Being naked all the time, it just reminds me that I have nothing on and am fully exposed

Lately, it is all about taking my shirt off also. I may be nude from the waist down and basically not thinking about it because I have a t-shirt or something on up top.
