My attention was recently brought to Julie Pailin and her husband Ian Dean. They are competitive rowers who are also active nudists. They can be found on Twitter at https://twitter.com/TwoNaturists.

I actually have rowed a single scull nude. It struck me as not much different from rowing a scull while clothed. Due to the ever present risk of capsize, there isn't much you can do in a single scull other than row. The position is such that it might not be evident to an onlooker that a male rower is nude. I went out in the early morning when I didn't think there would be other boats on the water, but one boat did go by me, and they didn't even slow down, which makes me doubt they realized I was nude. Rowing seats seem to be specifically designed to make the rower's butt go numb, and not wearing shorts certainly doesn't help with this.
