My wife wants to go visit the Santa Cruz Boatdwalk. It's a bit of a trip for us so I will want yo stay in the area for a couple of days. I see there are several nude beaches not to far away. The problem is that due to age and weakness, neither one of us can handle a long hike or steep trails. Does anyone on here know whi of the nude beaches in the area are the easiest to get to?

A common characteristic of nude beaches in California is that they are difficult to access.
If a beach is easy to access, it will be crowded with textiles.
There used to be a privately-run nude beach in the Santa Cruz area called Red, White, and Blue. It had a parking lot that was just a few steps up from the beach, but Red, White, and Blue was shutdown when the owners passed away, and the property was subsequently sold to a private party.
Bonny Doon is one of the best options in the area, but access requires hiking over a dune.

Making the beach difficult to access won't stop anyone if they really want to get to the beach, whether or not they are nudists.Comment
