Eastern Naturist Festival -- July 20-23, Lenox MA, review

We just returned last night from four days at the Eastern Naturist Festival, at the Eastover Estate, in Lenox, Massachusetts.

It began Thursday mid-day and wrapped up on Sunday around noon, with the Closing Friendship Circle.

There were multiple workshops/sessions daily, which dealt with everything from yoga, to artistry, to buying a hot tub, to massage, to hiking. and the volunteer organizers did a fabulous job of providing nightly entertainment - Thursday DJ Pegs spun the vinyl while we all danced; Friday, MoneyKat played live - WHAT A SHOW! Best of 80s music for dancing! Saturday night we had the talent show- "Star Search", and also Yoni Gordon performed with songs. The bar was open for cocktails - one of the volunteer crew mixed up an "Eastover Special" (have to get the ingredients).

The rooms were GREAT - not Marriott/Hilton-like but certainly great for a resort. The weather cooperated for the most part, with rain on Friday but perfect weather for the other three nights.

The only negative thing - food was not as good as we expected. But that's a small glitch - and - I hope to see you all there next year, should it be held again.

I forgot to mention - my wife and I won four prizes that were generously donated by nudist/naturist businesses. I won a full membership to Clothesfree.com! Mrs b_N won a five day stay for us at Bare Oaks, and I also won a three-day stint to Sunny Rest Lodge. My wife also won a $1000 discount on the Big Nude Boat 2024 - but we aren't going, so we gave the prize to a friend of ours from the Solar Bares.

Ya gotta get up and go! Hopefully you'll be there in 2024 - if it shoulld happen again!

I will go next year - PROVIDED - there's an improvement in the food. There HAS to be a positive change for us to go again next year.

I just looked at a map of Lenox, Massachusetts. You've got Frankie's, Haven, Firefly Gastropub, Olde Heritage Tavern, and Bistro Zinc all within fairly close proximity.

You might also consider bringing a cooler with survival rations.

I recall once stopping at a fast food place on Route 460 while traveling with a friend. While standing in line, I noticed his eyes got big. There was a lady wearing a tank top with no bra. Her breasts were readily visible through the arm openings. I then noticed that the gentleman she was with was also barely dress. I then realized this was one of the closest fast food places to White Tail Resort. The folks working behind the counter didn't seem to take notice. They were probably used to it.

Lenox and Lee are tourist areas. There are a lot of restaurants there, plus a lot of upscale spa/hotels (Blantyre, Canyon Ranch, etc.)

Well, it would seem ludicrous to pay for a "meals American plan" setup, only to pay for your own food again.

Although - a few decades past, I went to an AANR convention as a delegate. We could purchase a meals plan, OR - bring our own food. We brought breakfast food, ate lunch at the site's (Pine Tree) lunch counter, and got dressed and went off-site to Annapolis - ten minutes away. - for dinner.
