NoThreads: Love your name! Thank YOU for being a
part of the INA forum. It's our pleasure to offer
this bulletin board. We set this up as any easy
way for "newbies" and long time naturists to
exchange info from all over the world. I'm proud
to say the forum is bringing more and more
new naturists into the fold. Thanks to all who
participate here. Merry Christmas and a Happy
New Year from all of us at the International
Naturists Association and Clothesfree.com

Hi Bart

Can I just join No Threads in thanking you all at INA for the tremendous work you do.

As one of the "early settlers" on this board and certainly one of the earliest non-US readers/contributors I have watched these forums grow and blossom and I truly believe that what you have here is the best example of a naturist web site and discussion board. Although, obviously, the site is slanted towards the US you seem to be working hard to ensure that the International Naturist Association is truly international.

The internet has given us the opportunity to discuss and debate with fellow naturists from all over the world and the exchange of ideas can only be good for naturism. For example, I guess that many naturists in the US might look enviously towards European naturism but equally I believe that we (and especially the UK) have a lot to learn from the US in the way you promote naturism for that is something we're not too good at.

Perhaps this should be in the "Suggestions" section but whilst on the subject of internationalism I wonder if it might be a good idea to encourage even wider global participation by perhaps having a few home page articles or news items in languages other than English and perhaps finding ways to encourage non-English speakers to contribute to the discussion board.

Anyway, I'm sure I speak for the other 3563 registered users when I say that your hard work is really appreciated.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year from across the pond.

Rik

I would like to add my THANKS and GRATITUDE for a GREAT website! It was because of INA that I finally got up the courage to get into social nudism at age 55.

Your constant endeavor to improve and expand your website to make it more interesting is greatly appreciated by many I'm sure. It's especially interesting to hear from fellow nudists in other countries about how their culture deals with nudism.

A Merry Christmas and a Happy Nude Year to one and all!

I fully agree about the outstanding job INA is doing and the work you have done. Also, I would thank the many many people who have helped me see a different point of view or think about things I had not previously considered. I thought about naming you but I feel sure I would accidently omit someone. So please consider yourself part of a great group of people. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.

To all of you: Thanks for your good words.
Obviously this would not be a success without you.
We're always amazed by the degree of talent we
have among the contributors to the INA forum.
There are some very well reasoned and well
written thoughts that appear on this bulletin
board that I'm sure are the envy of other forums.
We greatly appreciate it. Keep it coming!
Rik, Dude I don't know what we'd do without you!
We do try hard to keep this an international
board and hopefully the INA crew will be
traveling abroad in 2003 to report on naturism
in other locales.
I will pass on your suggestion to Corky our
founder. He by the way is the creative genius
behind this website. Corky is always looking for
ways to make clothesfree.com and this forum more
user friendly and to spread the word about the
naturist lifestyle. Thanks Corky!

I couldn't agree more. This is what I look forward to each day. It has been educational, entertaining and enjoyable. I found the resorts from your "places to get naked". I joined the INA just a short time ago to help support the cause.

I may not reply alot but I do try to stay up on the subjects. Keep up the good work and maybe we will have more free beaches soon.

I want to echo all the above, and thank all the contributors to the forum. This is a place loaded with thoughtful people and their thoughts have helped me to express my nudist lifestyle to the many non-nudists in my life.

When I went through the trauma of resurgent memories of sexual abuse as a child, I went to the internet for support and information. In my search, I came across a Yahoo Group called "Shame Breakers", that dealt with what I was going through, and recognized had been a hidden, but driving force in my life. This group, made up mostly of men who had experienced similar events, was hosted by INA and nudism was often mentioned as a great way to overcome shame, and body embarrasment.

I had always enjoyed being naked, but did not really know what nudism was all about. Like most textiles/closet nudists, I assumed that nudists at clubs and resorts were pedophiles, and wife-swappers, and nude beaches were places for loose, and horny young adults to hand out and get their jollies. Through INA, and several of the linked websites, I learned the truth of the nudism philosophy, and became encouraged to try nudism outside my own home, and in a social setting. But not without my wife.

Again, through INA, and several linked sites, my wife did her own research, after I approached her about the idea. She was slow to come around, but the more she saw of positive nudism, the more convinced she became, and eventually agreed to go with me to a nearby resort.

At the resort, we found most of the people to be exactly what we had seen on INA, wholesome, fun, and completely above board, with the exception of some good natured teasing and silliness. This lead to what may have been the most exciting thing my wife has ever said since she said, "I Do." She wanted to go to other resorts and continue being a nudist!

So I say "Thank You" to INA for not only being a part of my long road to overcoming a horrendous past, but for also being a part of helping myfamily face a bright future as nudists. Because INA is here, we are where we are, and raising our kids in a body accepting lifestyle.

Me too.

I'm one who found this forum back in the "bad old days" when it was unmoderated. It's usefulness was nearly destroyed by a very few aggressively toxic people.

Once it became moderated those who are performing this function on behalf of INA worked with a combination of patience and firmness to establish a climate more reflective of what most of us experience in naturism.

Now it has become a great resource, and I thank those who make it possible at what has to be significant time and expense.

I would like to add my own thank you to the INA and those (Bartamus, Corky and others) who run the forums.

This is a great place for people to learn about nudism -- those who are just "coming out of the closet" (with no clothes on) and the veterans as well.

Through many in-depth discussions on a wide variety of topics, we are defining what nudism is, who nudists are and where nudism is headed.

In addition, through our association with the forums, we are building confidence to advance our causes and claims our rights of freedom of expression.

Gary

A special thanks to all the INA crew and supporters who help make this web site possible. Being a new nudist myself, I must admit, I have learned a lot. There are plenty of members out there who have shared my own problems, and it was them, who guided me in the right direction. I read the forums page every morning now, just like reading the paper, it's a ritual. It is interesting what topic will pop up next. I will keep reading the posts, and hopefully, I'll reply more often.

Keep up the good work, and Merry Christmas and have a Happy "NUDE" Year.
