I checked with James M. Haney, SWSA Run Director, and here's the 2006 SWSA Nude 5K Race schedule. It's not up on the Race Series web page, yet.

You can start scheduling your vacation time now! I hope to see y'all at some of the races.

I gather there isn't one scheduled for Star Ranch this year? I'd really like to do one of these, but it seems there are always obstacles for me.

Now that you know there's a race at Star Ranch, get your registration in as soon as the Racing Series web site is updated. Also, call or email Star Ranch to get a campsite, cabin, or room reserved for the weekend.

I'll have to see what I can work out (if anything, airfare's not looking promising). I know a family that has a membership at Star Ranch and owns a permanent site there and that helped organize the 5k there last year that I've contacted (and had talked about it with at length before). We'll see how it goes. I'd really like to do a nude 5k, but it keeps not working out for me, unfortunately.

The SWSA has changed it's name to American Association for Nude Recreation - Southwest Region, so here's the new link for the AANR-SW Nude Racing Series web page. The 2006 schedule is posted now.

The AANR-SW Nude Racing Series starts in less than a month with the Sahnoan Bare Buns Run 5K at Star Ranch on 8-Apr-06. If you haven't received a registration form in the mail, you can contact the Star Ranch Office at [email protected] or (512) 273-2257.
