• At the Laundromat?

    Hi all,

I was just kind of wondering, if it were late at a laundromat, and their were few/no people around, and I wanted to really wash ALL my clothes, do you think I'd face any problems? Please, let me know what you all think. Thanks.

I WONDER IF YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH A JOCKSTRAP AND FLIP FLOPS...TO ME NUDE WOULD BE INDESCENT EXPOSURE AND IF CAUGHT YOU WOULD BE SUBJECT TO SOME EXPLANATIONS...HEE HEE..

BUT ALSO...YOU SURE YOU WANT TO GET CAUGHT ON THE CAMERA'S IN THE LAUNDROMAT...I MEAN THEY MAY NOT CATCH YOU AT THE TIME ,BUT THE CAMERA WOULDN'T LIE...

JUST BE SMART AND SAFE DUDE...

BE NEWD, NOT REWD, AND NEVER LEWD...

Yeah, it'd probably be best to only try it if nobody was around, or ask those around if they'd be offended...

I imagine you would be in hand cuffs before your clothes hit the spin cycle.

There are times and places to be nude but the laundromat isn't one of them.

I agree, that being seen naked at a laundromat could lead to hand cuffs. In this case, you wouldn't have to worry about getting your clothes clean. The authorities will dress you up with clean garbs. They'll even have a sit down chat with you, take some friendly mug shots, fingerprints and possibly even put in the local newspaper. You will even get a chance to socialize with other people while waiting to get interviewed. You could also possibly even enjoy a nice "kitchen prepared" meal.

In other words, it's a bad idea.

Every laundromat I know of has security cameras if no attendant is on duty. Even if they aren't monitored, you would be recorded, and the next time you showed up...well, you get the idea!

Mind you, it reminds me of an ad for jeans a few years ago where a man comes into a laundromat, takes off his T-shirt and jeans, puts them into a machine and then sits down to wait wearing just his boxers.

I think www.streaking.org might be the place for you to get feedback on your idea!

If the laundromat has security cameras, you might not end up getting arrested but you might end up on TV on one of those shows made up from CCTV clips. Might be a tad more embarrassing than getting arrested ... )

Washing ALL my clothes at a laundromat is on my todo list. However, it may not be feasible in too many places. Ontario might be OK if I wear sandals.

Re security cameras. Yes, there might be one and you might or might not be able to locate it. However, if you are taped AND if there is no complaint, no one will see you on tape because no one every reviews tapes, and they are kept in rotation to be reused.

No, they don't usually review the tapes, however, that does not mean they won't see you on the tape if nobody complains. If they have any other reason to check the tapes, you'll be on them. One night one of the machines set off the vandalism alarm simply due to an unbalanced load. In a few minutes, the manager was there checking the video tapes, even after the people their told him why the alarm had gone off - had nothing to do with a complaint.

Is it worth it to take a risk that if anything goes wrong, they have evidence on tape? I would find a better place to experience nudity. I'm sure there are other places you could go without having to worry about this.

Be wise while you are nude, don't make a stubbling block for other who don't understand nudism.

Reminds me of an old "Starsky and Hutch" episode when they were staking out a guywho was in a laundromat. They needed to have a reason for being there, so they started stripping off their clothes and putting them in the washer. Just as they had their pants in the wash cycle, the guy ran out of the place, and they had to chase him in their boxers!
