  • Mark Foley resigns over sexual e-mails to minors

ABC News reported Friday that Foley also engaged in a series of sexually explicit instant messages with current and former teenage male pages. In one message, ABC said, Foley wrote to one page: "Do I make you a little horny?"

Well look at this. The man who was giving nudists so much hell a few years back saying that AANR nudist youth leadership camps were a danger to children turns out to be the one with the problem, not the nudists.

      Why doesn't this surprise me?

I can't explain it, but every adult "born again Christian" that I've met has turned out to have something in his or her past that is unsavory or illegal - drug use, alcoholism, jail time, whatever. The more these people act rightous the greater that which they are trying to cover up.

Now, I'm not saying that Foley was a born again. But, what I am saying is that he fits that whole
HE DOTH PROTEST A BIT TOO MUCH profile.

In my experience politicians are very two faced and change their venue on what ever it takes to advance themselves regardless of the consequences. It also is becomming abundently obvious these politicians are very disruptive in their sexual habits. Even Kissenger had many sexual deviations that were outside the law to compliment Clinton who shoulc have been removed from office, PERIOD !!! And of course Ted Kennedy said Clinton was not guilty, Clinton finally admitted his lies to the public as Kennedy thinks back of his sexual escepades over the years.

We really don't have politicians but a staff of truthless perverts running our nation.

AS I recall, 6 of the Republican congressmen who were driving the impeachment of Bill Clinton were found to have been adulterers themselves - including TWO Speakers of the House. Bill Clinton himself was not found guilty of lying under oath during his trial in the Senate, which is the context of Ted Kennedy's statement. If you recall the charges, you'll find that the judge in the deposition in question provided a very strange definition of sexual relations (to which Clinton and his lawyer objected, preferring that they just ask a simple question which can be clearly answered) - the JUDGE's definition (not Clinton's) defined sexual relations in such a way that a male recieving a blow job is not committing a sexual act, but the woman giving it is. Clinton answered truthfully to a ridiculously contrived question.

Why are the right wingers so desperate to blame every scandal, mishap, and misdeed that happens in Washington on Bill Clinton? The truth is that this Foley scandal is all on the Republican leadership who covered up his activities for years and deliberately kept the Democrats out of the loop. Clinton, Monica, Kennedy, Kerry, Gore, Hillary, Dean, Batman, George Clooney, Phil Donohue, Barbara Streisand and Al Franken had not a thing to do with it.

Wouldn't it be great if there didn't have to be "Sides" in politics.
No "Other Side" to blame things on.
Simply blame the person that comitted the wrong.
Simply make laws that upheld Freedom for everyone without infringing on the Rights of anyone else.

I am convinced that this was the plan of the founding fathers. To make a country where people could enjoy freedom and liberty without complicated laws that took away any part of that freedom.
Without Loopholes that allow the rich and powerful to avoid prosecution for crimes no matter what there stature in the political arena.
Laws need to be simple. Crimes need to be prosecuted. It shouldn't matter who the perp is.
He should still face whatever charges they bring against him.
