Meter Reader

My hot tub is behind the House in an enclosed area. Inside the Area is the Power Meter. To read the Meter, the Mater Lady must open the room. I don't plan to do this, but would I get in trouble if I was in the Hot Tub when she opened the door? I know she is coming on the first of the Month, and also She should be able to Hear the Jets of the Hot tub or Hear the Story that I am listening .
Has anything similar happened to you?

The simplest solution would likely be to talk to the meter reader on the next scheduled date, indicate that sometimes you are in the hot tub nude. Indicate that is not a problem for you if it is not for her. Or, if it is a problem for her work out a solution. A lot of people use hot tubs in the nude. This is not the first time this has arisen.

As I said, since I know what day she is coming, I plan on not being in until later in the evening after she is done, and besides that, I just use the inside hook on the door to keep people out or keep the door shut if it is windy

"Ambush Nudism" is NEVER a good idea. Some in there will disagree with that, thinking it's funny, amusing, etc.

That being said - you probably have your hot tub in a fenced-off area , and it's gated. Put a sign on the gate "please knock before entering" and have your robe ready.

If you plan to not be using the hot tub when the meter is being read, this is a non-issue. This is especially true if the door to the area is locked.

From outside you can see only the immediate area of the house, a mud room. Once inside it is possible to see the entire length into the kitchen where I was standing nude at the stove. She only got a side view, I thanked her for the delivery, nothing has been said about it, but she does not drop the packages inside anymore.

Next question. How has your power company allowed the meter to be enclosed? In our area they must be accessible. It really does not matter any longer because they don't have meter readers, having converted all of the meters to send the information directly to the billing office.

If it wasn't easy to open the door then there might have been some trouble

My only worries as far as people coming in the backyard is our Pest Control guy. He has come close at seeing me at times, but I usually stay clear when he's around. Once he's gone, I'll resume my activities. As I have stated numerous times, I'm always naked whenever I'm in the backyard, which is my "sanctuary". Electric. water and gas meters are all in the front, so no worries about "intruders" catching me.

This thread has reminded me of a post I put into the forum run by British Naturism for its members the title of which is "Answering the door naked". In the UK the laws are different to those in the USA and it is quite common for naturists to risk answering the door without a cover up.

Recently we were expecting a man to fix our awning so I texted him advising him that he could come direct to the back garden via the side gate and also mentioned that, as a naturist, it would be likely that I would not be wearing anything but if he had a problem with that could he let me know and I would put on some shorts. He later texted to advise that he would be later than anticipated but no mention of my text so I assumed he had no problem. He and a colleague later arrived in the back garden and we discussed the problem with the awning which was fixed very quickly and nothing was said about me being nude and I stayed that way whilst they were there.

In this situation, I was aware that the visitor was going to be male. If I knew beforehand that the visitor was going to be a female I would not have sent the first text and would have had a T shirt and shorts on

They still have meter readers? I thought all the utilities are using electronic readers these days.
