Today there wasn't that much to do so I was watching a little TV. Channel surfing I noticed how many how-to, reality and other specialty programs there are. I am wondering since travel agencies are starting to offer naturist themed traveling. Why can't The Travel Channel show some of these also. They could highlight some of the naturist resorts here is the states, cruises and even foreign travel. If the networks show people playing poker for three or more hours on TV, which I think is very borring to watch, why can't they offer this. My thought is that if more people see that good wholesome nudity is alright, more would be interested and not be so uptight about it.

I believe it was the Travel Channel that aired a 20 minute segment on a nudist hotel in Germany within the past few weeks. It could have been another channel but I belive it was the Travel Channel...there was a few postings on these forums about it.

The Travel Channel has had a few shows about naturists a few years ago. I remember seeing one where the guy who hosts The Amazing Race visited a naturist resort for a wedding. It was a very interesting show. He even tried out being nude for a bit on the show--he did exhibit the nervousness of a new naturist. I think the show was very well done. I only wish I could remember the name of the show.

Swimguy, you are right. I remember watching the show all the time. Phil Keoghan's Adventure Crazy. And I also remember seeing the exact episode you're talking about. To me, the Travel Channel was better back when it had shows like that on. There was another show about the same time called Lonely Planet that I thought was a very good show.
