  • Remember 9-11 and Grandparents day-Today !

Have a moment of silence today to remember all the inocent people who lost their lives on that 2000 day on 9-11 and remember to wish your grandparents a wonderful day and tell them you're thinking of them, if you are still blessed to have Grandparents.

My last grandparent died 38 years ago, but I'm a grandparent--three boys and a girl.

My thoughts and prayers are with those mentioned as well. But wasn't that in the year 2001? Really don't mater, as the day was remembered by all of the tributes before the NFL games today. That, coupled with the Katrina disaster, seems like the tibutes are becoming more and more mentionable.

          Thanks nudeinbama.

My grand parents are now all passed on. The last was my grandmother who died only 20 days short of yer 100th birthday, Medicare made them change her medicine and that shocked her system, put her in a coma she did not recover from and she died.

Yet they all are in the cinama screen of my mind very often. Those memories are of people who gave when they did not have to give, who did things for me they did not have to do and they did all that with out prompting. Very great people they are.

They were born from parents that imagrated from Europe, everyone of them. On one side, my ancestors settled the border between Canada and Maine that stands in tact today. Was the same that is a direct ancestor of Richard the Lion Hearted.

Will be my turn some day, hope I can do things that will be acceptable to them when I meet them again.
