Should a boy of 16 be professionally waxed all over if he wants it, and should the waxing be supervised by a parent? This was the question put to me by a naturist friend whose son wants to model for a photographer. Incidentally, can he model at that age if he has his parents' permission?

Well, it should depend on the maturity of the 16 year old (something that can be quite dubious in some 16 year olds), and their ability to form decisions.
However laws governing this type of decision in most cases prohibit a 16 year old from seeing such a decision through ... primarily due to the aforesaid dubiousness ... even with parental consent.
Though there are a wide range of laws dealing with different ages and their 'rights' under said laws, and it varies greatly from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, all tend to err toward disallowing rather than allowing such decisions.

    Besides ...Ouch!

More important than the waxing is the nature of the "modeling" he might be doing.

Didn't want to go there b.l.
I would hope with his parents consent it would be modeling not "modeling" ... but you never know.

many models wax or shave for photo shoots. he should definately have parents consent along with the parents attending. this should be demanded by the photography agent.

Judging from several previous posts of yours, you seem unusually interested in sexual situations or feelings vis-a-vis teenagers. I'm doubtful you had this question (above) posed to you - you simply want to start yet another discussion about 16 year olds. My advice to you is to find another chat group or simply grow up yourself, buddy.

I didn't want to be the one to say it but thank you for mentioning it Journey.

I went back to Yfenni's past post and boy does he like to talk about hairless 16 y/o boys.

This is not the first time he has mentioned the above sceanrio.

On Sept 26, he mentions his "admiration" for smooth guys

Oct 2nd: In a topic about child pornography, he mentions a "book" he enjoys where the model is a 16 y.o boy. He also mentions how he enjoyed the hairless and muscular body of the model

I saw a production of Albert Camus' Caligula about fifteen years ago in which the role of Tiberius's nephew was played by an actor a year or two under 18. Before the end of the first act he took off his clothes, and didn't put them on again for the rest of the play. He had been waxed from the neck down.

The question of exploitation doesn't arise, as both his parents were stage professionals, an actor and a director, who couldn't see his stage debut because they were working that night. They certainly knew what he was getting into, though, as he must have.

Two things about the production stick in the memory. First, the kid was really bad, to the point where when he was on stage, but not the focus of the action, even if way over on the wings he couldn't disappear - he'd twitch, or push his hair back, or something. By contrast, an actor in his 50s could become invisible at stage center. I hadn't previously realized that one can act badly while standing still.

The second thing I recall is I was sitting between my girlfriend and a friend of hers, and when the lights came up for the intermission, I had these two women discussing across me how this young man was "completely lacking in all qualifications for the role".

Does not Caipora's posting bear out the fact that it is not the body that is ever offensive or even stupid and inadequate; it is the whole person. Thus my original question was appropriate in the sense that perhaps when we are young we should accept ourselves for what we are and what nature has given us. However, all three above adjectives could be applied to
Elendil's, Journeyman's and Croydon's postings which I find personally insulting - as is obvious they were meant to be. But of course some people have no manners.
