There aren't all that many kids running around nudist resorts. I've never felt over-run by them.
However, there a few places that prohibit children in the area.
One is not a nudist resort even though it calls itself one. Cherry Lane 'Nudist' Resort near North Adams is a sex club for swingers.
Another is Northaven Resort near Brooklin. It is not at all in the same class as Cherry Lane. I know some people who go to Northaven regularly, they say it is very nice. But once the sun goes down it changes character. Not everyone swings there, and no always means no. But there is a reason there are no kids allowed.
Neither of those clubs is affiliated with AANR or TNS, for good reason.
Even though I am a single guy I have no desire to go to anyplace that isn't family oriented. My choice. Your milage may vary.

Thank you for understanding, we want a family orientated place too, maybe I should have asked if there are places that have over 18 days or weekends. As far as the swinger places, thanks for the heads up, that is not the lifestyle that we want.

While the one I go to isn't couples only, there are very few children or teens there, and they are mostly couples that are there. Nudity isn't something that most young people are interested in, or if they are they don't go because of all the adults.
I would think that if you want to go without your kids, leave them with someone if you need to and GO! There are some resorts that have a lot of children in the summer, like Serendipity Park in Georgia, but they just don't seem to enjoy being nude as much as we adults.

davejenn,
You many want to look into purchasing the North American Guide to Nude Recreation from AANR. It lists all kinds of clubs, resorts and some beaches throughout the U.S.
We use it everytime we travel and it's help alot to find the kind of club or resort you're looking for. Of course once you do find one in the book, it's always a plus to have someone on the BB's to give you first hand information if they have visited the resort you are considering.
Good luck. I have a copy if you'd like me to look up something in particular for you in the mean time.

I want to say that Jon Marc's post above states it the way I see it too.
Turtle Lake Resort would not be far from you. It is a large resort of about 160 acres, I believe, so you are not "elbow to elbow" (so to speak) with other families as you might be at a small resort that would require constant tolerant of any possible irritation from children's normal "roughhousing", crying or whinning or being loud. In fact, the number of times I have been at Turtle Lake, I hardly was aware of the few children there, except for a few in the distance who sometimes liked to play roughly on the floating dock in the lake that they swam to, but that was not close to me on the large beach area, and thus was not irritating.

Davejenn,
I gotta agree with the previous post at most of the naturist resorts that are out there, you will not see many kids and the ones that are there are pretty well behaved. While this dosen't guarantee you won't see any kids there I don't see them being that big a problem either. Seriously very few kids usually. Give it a shot see if you like it.
