  • Is it (nude)art, or...

you will have to decide for yourself, but it is interesting, I guess. Now one with more diversity - not just females.... also old/young/men/etc

It is a wonderful celebration of the diversity of the human female form.... thanks for the link.

As you say, perhaps the next time it will be even more diverse. JMO

As MarvinJS stated, it it amazing to see the diversity in even this small of a sample of images. It would be better if there was a wider sampling of various ethnic groups.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems most of those clothes didn't fit the model. The clothes seemed too big.

The original works were MUCH better, and these are the images from those series. The first frame was the person dressed as seen, then the subject would be nude in the same pose but turned to the left, and would turn 90 degrees in each frame until they were facing the camera again nude. No doubt this photographer/artist was convinced to use fancy gimmicks that actually take from the true art form.

OOOOOOOPS I was wrong!!! It is Akira Gomi who has the style that I was thinking about. Here is a site to view his works. I love this site http://www.fineart.sk/index.php?cat=2 Click on one of the distored images to see the full image. I was going to do the same style with subjects here in Cleveland, but stopped shooting about a year ago.

This is definetly a different way of looking at the female form. It's a shame though that there isn't one of the male form. I think that a more diverse range would have been more artistic.

It definatly does show that no two people are alike. I did see another project like this once that had an audio portion as well and was coed.

I too have seen this exhibit before with male and female, young and old.

It is good to see the exhibit is still making the rounds albeit edited down quite a bit.
