Ok, I've been hearing something about movie stars and butt doubles? Does anyone know what butt doubles are? I know its probably something that everybody knows, but I'm one of those dense people ( [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif[/img] ) who really knows nothing about Hollywood lingo. Can anyone help me, and is there a site with more information?

The term is used primarily for "stand-ins" for actors who do not wish to do nude scenes. Body doubles as it were...and frequently, the body double is more physically perfect than the actors physique. (Or at least in the eyes of the film maker.)Comment
