Growing up when air conditioning was rare, I started sleeping nude during the hot summer months as a kid. As for social nudism, that began on the beaches of Europe along with my 5 yr old twins at the time-almost 14 yr ago!

As a toddler I was so active I literally kept running out of my diaper so since mom was nude all the time she worked hard to get me to potty train early ... she was successful.

I have not worn a diaper since I was about 14 months old and I have worn very little clothing if any for the past 50 odd years.

Guess you could say I was born to it!

Started by skinny dipping in the backyard pool as a teenager at night and during the day when no one else was at home. By late teens had gotten home late one night went for a nude swim when a short while later my sister arrived home with the same thought, so she stripped off and umped in also. Don't think the folks were aware of our late night swims. Some years later found out mom 7 dad were skinny dipping at night when sis and I weren't home.
End of college years, during grad school went with sis ti fire island, beach was topless/nude. When my now wife and I were dating we regularly went to the Fire Island beaches. I was nude, she in a string bikine bottom and topless.
In late 1980's made 1st trip to St martin, been going nude every opportunity since.

After 37 years of being a textile, I joined the Y and showered nude.
This was essentially the first time I was nude with others.

This went well and I began to wonder why I had avoided prior situations where I could have been nude.

Since then, I have also skinnydipped and freehiked.

In the long and distant past, 43 years ago, in Holland, I needed an operation due to a herniated disc in the lower back.
After the operation I absolutely could not move. I was, with 9 other men, in a very warm room, naked, without blankets.
The reason was that we needed to be turned frequently in order to prevent bedsores.
In the first days I felt very awkward to be naked, as I had associated nudity with sex only.
On top of that, the nursing staff was female, nuns!
The shift in mindset caused me to think about nudity in a non sexual way.
In those days there were no CO beaches and membership of clubs was limited to couples.
After I emigrated to NZ social nudity became possible and there were plenty of empty beaches.
It is now 40 years and nudism cannot be taken out of my life ever

The wife and I were on a beach in Cornwall with our kids when it started to pour down. Everyone grabbed their clothes & ran off to get dressed. We decided to stay, strip off and just enjoy ourselves. That was in the 60's. I had long hair then and a full beard. Aint time orrible !!. I dont brush my pate anymore , just have a quick polish. Anyhow . 2 days & we're off on holiday . 4 naked crinkleys in Lesbos (Greece)

After the kids left home we started skinny dipping in our pool. We have allways walked up the hills behind our house on our farm . Once some years ago when my wife was in Sydney, on a hot night I decided to go for a nude night walk. It was the greatest experiance, walking free in the warm night air, amongst the Kangaroos and Wallabies, occasional Wombats, the calls of the night birds and the stars above.

My wife returned and was soon hooked to the pleasure of the nude night walks. Since then nudity has become VERY common on our farm and now with friends.

Began sleeping nude when I was 14-15 years old. Would spend as much time as possible, when left alone at home, in the nude.

Went into the service, met another guy that slept nude in our berthing space and began talking. He and his family were nudists. He gave me some magazines and I went home one weekend and told my wife that I thought I was a nudist and didn't realize it.

The rest is history!

I started late. It was about three years ago when I was 48 years old.

My nudist activities began in the privacy of my home. Sometimes, I ventured outside late at night. Being naked felt so natural and refreshing.

When I was around 8 or so I started sleeping nude.Nothing was said but my mom threw away all but one pair of my pj. When I was a teen it allways seemed I would end up nude when no one was home .Iam 45 now and last year I told my wife wanted to go nude when I could ,she had no problem with it. Now I enjoy it again

I started by sleeping in my undershorts and then with out them and liked it so just never put them on for bed. Then the time nude just expanded further into the day and back up the evening till I was nude the time I got home till I had to go outside and even then was nude as much as possible. Is the same habit today.

I started sleeping nude when I was 8 or 9 and later got into swimming nude with some school friends and discovered nude sunbathing after reading about nude beaches and nudist clubs in magazines. The rest is history.
