  • As a nudist I, ...

The only thing I did before becoming a nudist was graduate High School.

As a nudist, I served in the military.
As a nudist, I became certified to carry a firearm professionally.
As a nudist, I held a security clearance.
As a nudist, I began two separate careers.
As a nudist, I worked to connect one million service subscribers to the Internet.
As a nudist, I married, became a parent and later a grandparent.
As a nudist, I worked for one employer for over four years with no question of my personal beliefs or lifestyle.
As a nudist, I have dedicated twenty-eight years to promoting social and recreational nudism’s beliefs and practices in a positive way.

This year I hope others will pick-up the “As a nudist, …” (i.e. ‘while also being a nudist, …’) line, add their own accomplishments and repost or share it far and wide! This may become one of the more easily searched text documents capable of confirming the "we" represented by people in every corner of the Earth.

Interesting topic and well said, Centauri4.

We all define our involvement and/or commitment to nudism in our own way. I define mine as a loyal part time nudist.. nude at home (weather permitting) when no one else is here, nude at the local resort a dozen or so times per year, with or without my wife. This works for me. I am a semi-retired artist and designer, have raised a family, and lived a fulfilled life which induces nudism on my own terms. I am lucky to be living in Florida, which has many nudist venues and a legal nude beach just a few hours away. So far.. everything is pretty good!

I prepared a home for sale this summer and early fall. Did drywall, painting, electrical and plumbing work, as well as installing heating ducts. Did as much indoor work while nude as I possibly could, but had to dress to address the exterior jobs. Did my cutting for new wood flooring out on the back deck, but got by on those days wearing only bikini briefs. Also did a lot of cleaning, and cleaning is always best done nude.

Just remember to write it out in this format:

"As a nudist I, prepared a home for sale this summer and early fall.
As a nudist I, did drywall, painting, electrical and plumbing work, as well as installing heating ducts.
As a nudist I, Did as much indoor work while nude as I possibly could, but had to dress to address the exterior jobs.
As a nudist I, did my cutting for new wood flooring out on the back deck [of the house].
As a nudist I, also did a lot of cleaning, and cleaning is always best done nude."

It would also be great to cover a lifetime worth of milestones, rather than only one year or season. My idea is to show a comparative illustration of 'things' done before becoming a nudist versus after discovering or "taking to" social nudism. If you are a life-long nudist, that would be fine too, except much more difficult to list or describe anything as a non-nudist.

Thanks for the example text, nudeyooper!
