  • filming a documentry

You are on your way to your local clothing optional /nude beach (not a resort beach ) when see a sign saying that they are filming a documentary and if you do not wish to be filmed today then do not come to the beach . We will not be focussing on Individuals with out permission from the person or the parents if it is a child but you may be film in the background . Would you go to the beach that day or not .

In my case, I am not sure. My reason is my family members or more importantly my co-workers and neighbors and friends do not know that I am a nudist. If I were to be accidentally filmed and someone that I know where to see me on that documentary, that could spell disaster for me! And also since I do attend church, my entire reputation could be destroyed if any members of my congregation along with my pastor would find out that I am a nudist. So I would really have to play my cards very carefully. When I think more about it, I would have to pass in this situation. As I mentioned, it would be just too risky for me.

If someone notice you in the documentary asked why are they watching a nudists documentary

It's not always that simple ...

Since my retirement I find I am more willing to be free in public.

Same here. I'm not very concerned about co-workers, but church is a definite concern.

I actually had this happen to me when I was a member at Lake Como Club in FL. The local TV station came out and shot a spot. If I recall correctly, the management told us when & where they would be filming and we could wave them off if we didn't want individual shots or avoid the areas when they shot group shots. I was sitting on a bench reading, preparing for a Bible study and a camera man started shooting me; I waved him off. Later we were playing water volleyball and they shot some footage of it. I ended up in the spot briefly from the back.

I could do that, but it still wouldn't help my situation being I would be exposed as a nudist. Don't misunderstand me, I am not shooting down your suggestion that abruptly. I am just showing you the angle from my perspective.
