Whats up with this site?

Not sure if anyone will see this or respond but what is up with this site? It used to get updated with new Nudes in the News and photos on a monthly biases. Now if is only every 3 or 4 months if we are lucky. If this site is not going to be kept up then I dont see any need to keep paying my membership. So on that note how does one go about turning off the auto renewal for paid membership?

Your best bet is to contact your bank and have them stop the auto pay, whether it's monthly or annually. It's probably easier than getting someone from CFI to answer you here. After the site crash, my Mod abilities are limited.

I'm not a paying member but note that it's been 3 1/2 months since their last posted video --this board / clothesfree.com doesn't appear to be good right now.

Diagnostic errors show up on the bottom of the screen after posting -- and there have been error messages (occasionally) after posting.

Hope I'm wrong but with no maintenance -- the state of the board doesn't look promising.

Then again, if someone from CFI shows up and says "WRONG!" I'll be happy.

As to the basic question, the website seems to have lost interest in maintaining itself as a viable choice for its started purpose. Not sure of the reasons but I am sure there are many. There are about a half dozen folks on here who contribute much. While I'm not a major initiator of topics, I do try to keep conversations moving forward. Quite frankly, I am about ready to call it quits on here myself because it seems rather lifeless.

The days of Corey, Aaron, Red, Stephanie ... and all the activity and discussions about so many things, are gone. Corky has moved his interests to other things. The current Admin has this site on auto pilot and since there isn't much activity, there's not much that needs to be done. Trying to get anyone to respond to emails or messages is moot. There's no real interest at the top. With the half dozen or so members that continue to visit and post something everyday or so ... interest is dwindling with those active members as well. With limited Mod abilities and no real Moderating to be done ... this place is almost a ghost town. It's only as good as the owners and Admin are willing to put forth any effort to resurrect the site or at least regain more interest.


CFI was the premier nudist site when it started. I was a member from very, very close to the beginning. I watched it grow, watched every episode of Nudes in the News. Even Corey, Aaron, Red and a couple others used to actually chime in on topics of discussion. Once Nudes in the News took off, they all became very busy with that and the travel to make the videos. As much as we'd like to regain a fraction of what CFI was like, without owner/Admin support and involvement, there will soon be less and less of us until no one visits here at all.

The internet is a fickle "place". AANR has a perfectly usable forum, yet it's even quieter there than here. I'm a member of another naturist forum that uses the same software as AANR's forum, yet it has far more activity than AANR's. And then there's TrueNudists; their forum software is a homegrown mess; yet that site has a lot more activity than here.

For good or ill, it's pretty easy to stand up a web site with a forum. That leads to lots of competing sites splitting those interested in a topic, which lowers the activity at all the sites. As the owner of a site, it must be very frustrating to spend a bunch of time and $$$ to create a site like Clothesfree, have it be popular for a few years, and then see it fade in popularity.

Fierprof i have been here for a very long time as well and have seen all the episodes of NIN. I miss seeing them on a regular bases and all the good tasteful nudist pics that they would add to the site also.

I stop in occasionally, usually don't say anything. but the other day i searched up an old topic ( 10 years old ) to see what I had said about it, Not nudist related. I have tried posting in the old "Bumper Stickers" thread, but didn't seem to be able to.

Recently I saw this one: "Did you run out of blinker fluid?" Of course it was on a car in front of me in a turn lane without its blinker on. At its next turn, it did use its blinker however.

All things being said - yes, there is a lamentation here - very little activity, and I'm looking - the last video that was produced = January, four months ago.

Chat area was eliminated after the last crash. Many prominent posters, moved on for various reasons. While there were some prominent American nudists posting on this board at one time, they've stopped.

I don't know how many people in here are on the nudist scene. I still spend a few minutes on here every day seeing if there's any conversation but there isn't much.

I post my share. So do a few others. Problem is, it's only a few others.
