I have moved into my new house and every evening I close my curtains and go naked for the rest of the evening I don't dare to do it with the curtains open as I live across from the town hall and am not sure how my neighbors would react I am probably going to get a better idea next spring when I get my hot tub which would be clothing optional

Ranul: That is great news about the new house. I am glad that going naked is still an option and is still enjoyable. Keep us informed about progress with the new hot tub.

Check the view from outside. In the daytime with no lights on in the house, it may be too dark inside for anyone to really see in. There is also the height of window sills to consider. If high enough you may be covered from the waist down. Lastly, look at elevation change. If the street is lower than the house, that angle could give you more privacy without the need to close curtains. I live nude where all three of these conditions make it impossible for someone to see I don't wear pants until they would come up onto my front porch.

the front window is very large and there are no trees to block the view I don't think I will be going naked in the near future during the daytime

Congrats on the new home! I have HUGE windows in my place facing a major street. I HATE closing up all the drapes and being in a cave, because if I am home, I am nude. I ended up putting cafe curtains on the lower half the window and a blind on the top half. It allows me remain nude inside and also keep the natural light coming in without offending anyone on the outside they aren't as comfortable with nudity as I am! Of course, this would depend on the type of windows you have and the height of any other buildings around you. I look out and enjoy the natural light and also think HA I am naked! To be or live in a place where nudity was/is simply accepted and normal! Some day hopefully! Enjoy your new home!

Re: Windows. There is also film that one can buy that sticks to the glass and converts it into privacy glass. When I started going nude at home I bought and placed it strategically. "Frosted Privacy Window Film." If, as Nudeyooper said, you have elevation and adjacent window height on your side you may not need much film, and only at the bottom of the window.

Lots of options for hot tub privacy, I’m partial to lattice with vines that flower with shrubs or trees a little further away. Several dimensions or layers of vegetation make it hard for people to focus on the hot tub.

I have some clematis growing on lattice that produce flowers most all of summer and have grown to be so dense that you can't see to the other side. If I were plating for privacy, I would put up a six foot chain link to give the plants the support they need and they do get heavy. In a few years you would likely not see the fence at all.

Clematis are perfect but they do get heavy. How far is the hot tub from the property line? If it’s any distance at all, there are it’s of options. I certainly worked hard for my yard privacy.

30 yrs ago, in our previous house, I planted over 100 very small spruce trees around my back yard. I watered and fertilized, and cared for them. In five years I had a living fence you couldn't see thru and a nude sanctuary. Total privacy. Now they are 20ft tall.

In my house, now, I have 7ft concrete block walls around the back. A nudist paradise. We built with foreknowledge of subdivision regulations and styles of houses that would be built around us. No one can see in, unless they climb a ladder. Then I just smile and wave.
