Writing about psionic elves

I thought that this would be in Miscellaneous. I'm writing about a race of Psionic Elves for D&D/d20 system/OGL. When it came to appearance, I described most as scantily clad. When I downloaded art, I could find that only girls were "scantily clad." I'm wondering if I should change that to "most are naked." Because of Wizards' guidelines I can't do art of naked elves (unfortunately). But I'd like to get some opinions.

Do you think Wizards' guidelines are too strict? Do you think more fantasy art should depict nude characters?

I think that if characters are nude, they should be depicted that way. I am not sufficiently acquainted with the other issues to answer.
