What do you do with your keys?

Years ago, I got an AANR velcro key pouch that could be attached to shoe laces or the straps on flip flops.

I don't trust the velcro pouch for running, so I bought from Amazon a cap that has zippered pockets on either side. Please excuse the dog hair in the photo.



The Naturist Society sells a beach towel/wrap that has a pocket. That might be a good option for a visit to a beach of swimming pool when you don't want to carry a bag or backpack.

If you are worried about the security of your wallet and keys while you are in the water, one of the recommendations I've seen is to hide them in a disposable baby diaper. Nobody is going to open a random baby diaper even if there is no baby around.

I lock mine in the car. My Fords have keypads on the driver's door. Even a fob can be locked inside with the keypad. The horn will sound to alert you to the fob being inside but that is just one beep.

Never had a problem with mine. Had a Windstar for 18 years and 223,000 miles. My 2011 Escape just rolled 146,000 and my 2018 Flex has the fob.

I wear my keys on a lanyard around my neck.

I've accumulated a collection of lanyards, but I rarely use any of them. Having my keys bounce around while running or doing other activities is annoying.
