Andy, a long top and no bottoms looks bad on either sex!
Liam, you forgot two little words: "I think".
I totally disagree with your statement, and I might not be the only one

After reading your posts and giving it some thought, i think perhaps i'd be best off sticking to tshirt and shorts (when weather warm) and perhaps sweatshirt and jogging bottoms (when its colder). Probably th most practical and 'decent' looking for going into a non nude environment.
I'd agree now a long top and no bottoms does look and feel a bit odd on a man.
Thanks

I didn't get the proper head gear to go with my Kaftan. I really need something for the shiny spot that seems to be growing on the top of my head, and a ball cap just doesn't seem to go with a kaftan.

I don't see that any of the ideas for covering and staying nude are any different than any of us that just put on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.
Sometimes we just gotta cover, even if it's just a few seconds. I don't wanna have to wear some long shirt or robe if I don't have to. I'll just slip on my flimsy shorts and sometimes wear a t-shirt, sometimes not.

I know the ones you mention. Very nice. I'm going to hold out for a West African version because, as I mentioned, I already have the skullcap for it.
Cheers!

I have one of those, Kaftan's, which I purchased in Spain, from an American guy who has a shop in Garrucha near Vera Playa the nudist resort.
My Kaftan is wel used, I wear it when visiting my parents, its the next best thing to being nude, I also use it when visiting nudist clubs, its ideal for when the sun has gone down and it starts to get a bit chilly.
For my birthday recently I was given an Indian (Asian) version of the Kaftan, which is a little more colourful, and slighlty diferent in style, but just as good for that almost naked feeling.
These garments are also very useful when on vacation at a nudist resort where you sometimes have to wear something, like at the mall, or in a bar. I can walk down the street naked, slip my Kaftan on over my head to shop, then remove it for the return walk to my apartment.
A wonderful piece of kit, I would highly recommend it.

In east Africa they are called Kaftans and they aren't white, they have lots of color. I purchased a couple when the ship I was on visited Kenya many years ago, and my wife has made some more, even for relatives. We use kaftans when visiting. It is way too inconvenient to have to put on something when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Yes they are very confortable, and I have even worn them to the store but the major problem with them is there is no place for the wallet or car keys.
As for throwing on something to go out to get the mail I have several pairs of very lightweight shorts that my wife made for me that I use. They are much quicker and easier to get on and off. But I don't use anything when going out in the dark in the morning to get the paper.
