Nude Women versus Sexy Women

This would have been a poll if I was awake enough to pose my choices properly.

This is in response to: "Why do guys feel they can pick up women on a Nude Forum".
How many here have noticed that there is nothing particularly sexy, per-se, about nude women at the parks. Unless they're dressed or half dressed?
A nude woman drinking her coffee in the morning is a woman drinking her coffee. Nothing else. Yet I have met some female members outside the park and thought to myself, "WOW, look at that!!", because of the way she was dressed.
I think the point I'm trying to get to in my inept way, is that it's the 'package' that's sensual.
I swear, No matter how casual the clothes, they are all designed to make the wearer look sexy.
I find that a cute woman I hardly glance at in the park will merit a whistle from somebody if you put her in clothes.
I left a lot out here because I don't like typing that much, but I hope you see what I'm trying to get at.
Feel free to expound on this topic and give me hell. I hope none of the ladies here take any offense, as none is intended.

i think when we are nude the fantasy is gone. we already see what we look like nude so don't have to let our imagination go wild.

Good topic and I agree with what everyone is saying. Alot of clothes are meant to fit in a way that draws one eye, and makes the person look sexy. Take off the clothes, and it is all there for one too see. Nothing to be curious about anymore.

I agree too , its the allure of whats under those clothes. At a nude venue its gone we get to see the real beauty . There is no tightness or pushup bras to enhance shapes or figures , just the real thing .

Sexiness is not just a state of dress or undress; it's also an attitude. I have seen nudist women who were very comfortable with their looks and body, and expressed it (without turning to exhibitionism). I specifically remember one lady who was sitting next to me at a resort, who obviously put a lot of work into her body, hair, tan and smoothness; and she was extremely self-confident. She literaly exuded sexiness. Most nudist women, however, understandibly choose not to project themselves in that manner.

But yes, clothes accentuate curves or can even create them. Once clothes come off and gravity comes into play, the "magic" goes away.

Very true I agree but I have no idea why this is?

I mean are we programmed this way? Is it just the way most womens clothes are designed? I don't quite understand it but I have experienced this myself.

Put a naked women and one that is partially clothed in a clothing optional setting and I bet the one who is partially clothed gets more looks.

Well.... that's a bit of a strong statement, opinions probably vary a lot on this :-) Some clothes are really and only about functionality. And within the art world, nude women figure frequently exactly because particular features make them (maybe not as a person) very attractive. So there is more to it.

Also, there is the nudist mantra of 'don't stare/glance etc'. A long time ago Laura Lopez started a good topic on exactly this. There is more to people then looks alone, but in the textile world of course it is looks that can most easily be manipulated to appear most attractive. That doesn't work in a nudist setting.

Implicitly you are making a judgement about the perception of people just by clothes they wear. I guess a lot of people do, and if you (I don't mean tinner66, but anyone) do, then I recommend to immediately think of that person as you could meet him/her in a nudist setting and see if that changes your mind. Often it does.

Getting back on topic, in the nudist "world" sexiness is obviously not measured by clothes, but rather by the way she looks and the way she carries herself. This is not a bad thing! There is nothing wrong with being or acting sexy but these actions and attitudes are not limited to women who are nude.

The men who will watch a beautiful woman will do so in a textile setting no differently than a nudist setting. Women do the same to men!

I have to admit.........there is this one very sexy woman that I've seen at the resorts we've frequented the past several years. Seen her at the beach as well.

Thank God when she walks by, she ends up sitting right next to me and comes home with me too!

I believe that sexieness is an attitude not a state of dress, or udress. I admit that I like to look at women in any state of dress, and the women I find most attarctive, or sexy, are the ones with an air of confidance. You can tell that they feel good about, and accept themselves for who they are, not what they are wareing, or what they look like. I will try not to sound judgemental, but the women who want to look like Barbie, are not sexy to me, because they lack confidance in themselves and have to hide behind a disguise, and it does not matter to me if they are nude or parcially dressed or fully dressed.
I hope I do not cross any lines here, I do not mean to offend, but look at barbararuth's avatar, that is sexy to me, the way she is posed gives her that air of confidance, very casual, very here I am like it or not without being rude.

Thanks Nimrod..some people have pm's me wondering why I look pissed off??? Actually, the sun's reflection was blinding off the water and I am squinting! Oh, and I am an independent woman with a certain aire of confidence, but even more so since I have become a nudist! Good observation.
