Paul and Eleanor invite all Lupin Lodge members to join them in celebrating their 60th birthdays and the 60th anniversary of the Hollister Motorcycle Rally - the three most important events of 1947. During the July 4th weekend of 1947, 4,000 motorcyclists converged in Hollister. The movie, “The Wild One,” starring Marlon Brando was loosely based on this event. It was at this place, at this time that the outlaw biker mystique began. Dress the part in leather (or whatever your version is of a biker dude/babe). But of course costumes are not required and au natural is always in style.
Sunday, May 20 - Nudie Bus from Lupin to Bare to Breakers Fun Run in San Francisco Lupin Lodge co-sponsors a bus with Bare to Breakers Boosters this year from Lupin Lodge to San Francisco for the Bay to Breakers event in San Francisco. "Bare" participants are invited to register for the bus, which will depart from Lupin Lodge at 5:30am, and will return to Lupin Lodge following the run.
