We did a practice run during the AANR convention to see how many couples we could have slow dancing at the same time in a swimming pool. We only had 103 couples in the pool.
I'm sorry to say that management has expressed regret that they built a pool that we were unable to fill with people. We either need more couples to show up for beach-fest on Aug.18-19-06 for a 'real' attempt or we may have to downsize the pool.
Anybody want to come and help fill the pool??

Probably never get to record as all nudist in the pool would never authorize having their picture even if tiny publicized or published for the record. Unless you had a representative from Guinness verify the event in person it will be a fun event for comment but not a record in multi-media as most Guinness records are today.

Last I heard, Guinness is supposed to be there in August for the attempt. This was just a trial run to see how many members/guests would/could fit in the pool. We want more guests to join in and help set a world record. Come on down for Beach-Fest, Aug.18-19.
And speaking of that: Who can meet the CHALLENGE???
We had 103 couples. Can any club out there beat that? Go for it! WTR officially dares anybody to beat 103 couples. HAH!
Beach-Fest will draw many people and 200+ couples will set the bar in August.

I doubt any pics will be taken that could show a person's face. Guinness doesn't need pics, just a 'body' count. "IF" any pics are taken, they would be done by the Camp Photog and would never leave the property. Everybody would have to sign a release for that to happen.

Hmmmm... could be asking for trouble. In Michigan the state sets limits to the number of people who are legally permitted in a pool. A photo providing proof you exceeded that limit might be all they need to send in the storm troopers!

I think it fits into the Phonebooth, Volkswagon, and other stunts. Never heard of a pool limit, but the normal # in the pool at any time other than this is around 50.
Motorcycle jumps are probably illegal too. We can send Evel and Robbie to jail now.
