The "Senior Journal" ran an article on nudism....like 9 months ago, but it came up on good ol' Google of course. Here it is
I'm glad AANR is aware.

Doc,
I am glad that there are senior citizens in the movement. Good for them.
However, one would hope that a new generation discover naturism too.
So how pray tell, did naturism get started here and in Europe? The article mentioned the "free-spirited" 1960's, but social nudism began in America a generation before then.
I think naturism struck a chord with people who felt inclined to rebel against prudish times. Sure, the movement found new devotees in the height of the counterculture, but that was not the beginning.
I've heard that social change has diminished enthusiasm for the traditional family naturist park.
Is society more polarized? Are religious families more prudish than a generation ago? Has there been a conservative backlash that led to a greater perception that nudity = sex?
Do many of those who remain open to naturism see nudist parks as too square? Too many rules?
Have gawkers and pests made beach nudity untenable for many families?
Are families less likely to take an entire week of vacation for camping at a naturist park?
Despite these possible obstacles, what can we do to bring a new generation to body acceptance, home nudity and recreational nudity?

Thanks for posting the link to the article Doc. I think it is sad that younger people aren't giving nudism a try. I've asked some of my younger friends to go, but they are all like "I'm not that comfortable with my body."
