Do we apologize for being nude (when appropriate)? Why would we apologize for being sober?
There are similarities in these questions. Because the target, whether the nudist or sober person, has nothing to apologize for, other than the originator's embarrassment. The fact that one is nude (or sober) highlights the other fact that another one is clothed (or drinking).
We, all naturists & nudists, must not only accept rational choices of others, but wholly embrace them! If, or especially when, it makes us uncomfortable. This is the chance for growth within us.
