It has been pointed out that the 'Bare to Breakers' is a different organisation to 'Bay to Breakers.
Bay to Breakers does not allow nude runers.
'Bare to Breakers' is run over the same route later after Police notification, and have a seperate website.
Maybe people can add to this ?

Actually the Bay to Breakers and Bare to Breakers are at the same time, place, and route. The Bay to breakers is a costume or clothed foot race of 80,000 or more participants, the Bare to Breakers is a Nude Demonstration with police notification and approval ONLY on the race course route and time with approximately 200 participants. [A very small percentage of total participants]
