Yeah, there are some nude venues in Arizona,
but they require a drive. My favorite is
the Verde Hot Springs. It's near Camp Verde
in Northern Arizona about a two and a half
      hour drive from Phoenix.
      E-mail me for directions.

Verde Hot Springs is the place to get naked
      and socialize

        thanks Bart,

Is this place both male and female? Both young and old? Someone had suggested Shangri La, but said it was more of a senior crowd. Nothing against that, but I am looking to socialize and make friends with the 30 to 40 year old crowd. What part of AZ are you from? Mesa, AZ here.

Amedmo: Yes, the springs attracts a younger
crowd. These days it's a mix between
          naturists and non-naturists.
I checked out Shangri-La a year ago and
found it to heavily senior citizen
          I live in Central Phoenix.

            Hello Bart,

Thanks for your response. Where is this place located? Directions?

Amedmo: If your coming from Mesa/East Valley,
the best way is to head north on the Beeline
(hwy 87) to payson. Keep going until you
reach Strawberry. Turn left and take the
              road through Strawberry. It eventually
becomes a dirt road. You'll will gradually
descend into a canyon. Stay on the dirt
road (about 10 miles). Turn left at the
sign that says Childs. Another 10 miles
and you hit the campground. From there it's
a mile hike to the springs. I would strongly
suggest having a vehicle that can handle the
              road. It's not graded.

BMF: Check out Reddington Pass east of
Tucson. There's a little beach near some
water and plenty of nude hiking

Hello friends from Arizona. We are a couple fairly new to nudism, but live near Phoenix and heard of a resort north of Tucson that is having a "game day" late in March. It would be a great time to be nude and play tennis etc. as we hear that is part of the activities. Is anyone from this forum planning on attending? If anyone has any information about the resort and the event, we would really appreciate it. Thank you!

We are going to Quartzsite Az. on 13 March and we are looking for a club in the area. So we would like some help on a location. Thanks

Jardin del Sol is a nudist resort north of
Tucson. However, I've never been there and
am not sure how to get there.
The other resort is north of Phoenix and
                        it's called Shangri-La.
It's actually in a town called New River.
I-17 north of Phoenix get off on the
Carefree hwy. Turn left on 7th street and
you'll find it up the road about 10miles

It is nice to know that there are other nudists here that attend ShangriLa. My girlfriend and I have been there almost a dozen times but have yet to make friends as we are always shy when we are there, since we never met anyone there outside the resort. We would love to make other nudist friends to hike to nudist hot springs or to have nude get-togethers at ours or their homes. We are a couple 30 and 45 and fun to be around. Hope to meet some new friends on this forum!

                            Friendsnow: I've been to Shangri-La. I don't
know if it's changed but I thought it
catered to older people. The new owners have
really tried to turn it around and I've
                            heard some good things.
My nude venue of choice is the Verde Hot
Springs near Camp Verde. Have you been
                            there?

Hello Bart, yes we have been there and to Fossil Springs too. We like both of those places and will visit at least Fossil Springs soon to swim as we like water hikes. We could meet you there sometime if you want. ShangriLa seems to be a real nice place, but everyone seems to know each other there and we are too shy at first to mingle. Also being younger than the majority of the people there makes my lady shy about being friendly and talking to others. We are going back there again this weekend for a special organizational event for the Southwest Nudist Association? and will try to make friends. Thank you again for the input.
