Where in Idaho? (North, South, East West).

My personal favorite hot spring, that I have visited so far (I admit, I haven't visited very many), is Goldbug hot spring in Idaho (just south of Salmon, I believe). I visited on a Saturday about a year and a half ago. There must have been at least 30 people there, all nude except for three. And those three were literally off practically cowering in the corner in a little pool by themselves. They looked so ashamed. In a way, I felt sorry for them. The other 27+ of us had a great time! At one point I remember a conversation with a couple that was part of an Idaho-based hot springs club of some sort. It's a bit of a hike to get to the springs themselves, and I hiked into and out of the springs nude, and the passerby's on the trail didn't seem to even acknowledge it in the least (I was just one of a mixed gender mostly nude hiking group, if that mattered). I did notice most of the license plates in the parking lot at the trailhead were not Idaho plates.

A few issues of "N"-magazine ago did a whole thing on Idaho focusing on the hot springs (and including some unfavorable legal situations, unfortunately). As I recall they even mentioned a few resorts - I seem to recall one in Boise.

I suppose if you'd like I could dig out the magazine and see how close my memory is to reality (lol)....
