First time visiting a resort

So I'm pretty much a closet nudist since I still live with my parents and can only go nude when they're not home... Next week they'll be heading out of town which is going to give me the perfect opportunity to be nude for days at a time and visit a resort for the first time...

I've talked to people at Whispering Oaks in Oxford MI and explained my situation of being a single male and they have no problem letting me visit for a day. So I was just wondering what I should expect when I get to the resort since it's my first time and I'll be by myself... Any advice and info from people that have been in my situation and who go to resorts often would be appreciated...

Really you wont find it any big deal. Once you have your clothes off act as you would at any resort and in 5 minutes you will forget that you and everyone is naked. People wont look at you and think to themselves that this is the first time for you - only you will know this.

Hows it going Dave? My first visit was at Forest Hills and I was a sigle male, it wasnt a problem. I keep going back there, they are very nice there and it feels like home. My first time I couldnt believe I was going to go naked with other people but it didnt take long after the clothes came off for it to feel so right. You will be WAY more aware of being naked then anybody else will be of you being naked. Iam a big guy and was very worried about my looks but it really has never been an issue to anybody but me. I really feel that most nudist are just easy going and happy to be with like minded people. Give them a call and tell them about yourself and go spend a night because after you spend a day there at their awsome pool you are going to wish you didnt have to go home right away, trust me, you will wonder what took you so long. You do not need advice when you go grocerie shopping, right? So when you arrive at the resort, take your clothes of and enjoy yourself. If they have activities, just join, you will be accepted as you have been going for years. Nude people are a different crowd, they accept others real easy.

Take a towel to sit on and you'll be OK. Nudeinbama????? posted a good set of ettiquite rules and can be found with a bit of searching here.

My first time was only a couple of months ago. Once I was nude, the only thing I was aware of was how great it felt. Any apprehensiveness disappeared with my clothes. My second time was just this past weekend. Once I was at the resort, the clothes came off without the slightest hesitation. I was hardly aware that I was nude.

Dave you should spend the night because you will not want to put your clothes on and go home. The first visit I made to Turtle Lake was wonderful. I never quite believed the people who said , I forgot I was nude, I didn't want to get dressed and go home, but it is all true! We had to leave after a three night stay and I can't tell you how easy it is to slip into the nude 24 hours a day
lifestyle. I would love to try a longer visit. Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for the reply's and advice everyone... I emailed the place letting them know I'd like to go next week sometime and they just said to call before I'd like to visit... Hopefully everything go really well.... I'm also looking into staying the night like some have suggested so I'll figure out if I'm gonna stay in a little bit....

I can't wait to go...

Trust us! Staying the night will seem natural. After that, getting dressed to leave will seem unnatural!

if just visiting for a day or anytime be yourself! you'll find that walking around talking to others how the time flies! if they permit you to spend the night it will be the greatest experience! enjoy yourself!
