My girlfried of 7 months now has finally succeeded in getting me into the clothes free lifestyle, both her and her daughter have been living the lifestyle for a couple of years now. I have only been naked around her house a few times, (still kinda shy about letting it all hang out around her daughter). Shes only 13 and from all the looks, she obviously has never been around an uncircumsized male which i guess is understandable, but still makes me a bit self conscious. Anyway, glad to be here and its nice to have a place to come to for advice and friendly chats.

Welcome to the forum and nudism. Having a 13 year old daughter myself, I understand your nervousness around her. You are right that your antomy might look a little different than what she's used to but it will be a good lesson for her in the long run. You may want to have your girlfriend explain why some men are circumsized and others are not to her. I still remember a family friend (female) using a PlayGirl to explain it to me. I've always appreciated that.
You will become more comfortable with casual nudity as time goes on. Congrats on taking these first steps and ENJOY!

Thats good advice. I had many worries before I started going clothes free around the house, especially with her daughter present, My GF and I sat down before I started and set up a few boundries, such as controling erections(easier said than done, lol) , being aware of non-sexual of course bodily contact with Amanda(<-daughter) which hasn't been an issue at all, other than a her accidently backing up into me in the kitchen a few nights ago. But overall its been a huge learnig experience for me and
having my GF explain the functions of the foreskin and such just might settle my nerves a little, lol.Comment

That's great that you both sat down and talked about things before you started participating. I think you are in an easier position say, than a fellow trying to bring in his g/f and her daughter into nudism. (That doesn't always go over well.) Congrats to your g/f for raising her daughter with such great body confidence! It will serve her well as she grows up and has to deal with the pressures of society.

Welcome, Aphex. There's an interesting group of people who post here, with a huge range of views and interests.
The assumption that the 13 year old daughter gives you "looks" due to your being uncircumcized seems to me to imply that she has been around a lot of other nude males who were circumcized. Has she been around a lot of nude males? If not, then it may not be the circumcision but the nudity to which she is reacting.
If she was 11 when naturism was first introduced, it wouldn't be surprising if she is having some discomfort adjusting to the new reality in her home, i.e., you, the naked man. I hope the mother is sensitive to this and keeping good communication going.Comment

Hello Aphex. Wow! This is a bit unusual with a female bringing in a male to the nudist lifestyle. Nevertheless, I am proud of all of you. You are very lucky to be in the spot you are in. When you have a male attempting to introduce the female into nudism, the situation is normally the opposite reaction. I mean the female is usually the one uncomfortable! I do sincerely wish you all the very best of luck in your pursuit of your hobby and happiness. Congrats once again!

I wonder if the daughter is "uncomfortable" with Aphex being nude, or if she is just naturally curious about his genitals. Seems that this is what nudism is all about with children- letting them innocently and naturally discover the difference.Comment

Aphex, I think it's a normalicy issue. When I first started going to nude beaches and resorts I was a little weirded out when kids were around, I felt that somehow them seeing me nude was wrong on some level. I've since learned that the issue was my own and not one they shared at all.
Why don't you take your family to visit a family resort, where you'll see nudism on a larger scale and you won't be the only male around but rather a part of the blended crowd.
