  • "newde" to INA and the Virgin Islands

    Hey ya'll
New naturist here, well new member of INA, I've always been trying to keep up positive support to body positive consciousness. It sure can be a challenge sometimes, but know what, "I'm not ashamed of my body!"

My home town is Seattle, WA, (GO BODY FREEDOM!!) but I'm currently on a contract job in the US Virgin Islands til April. Beautiful place to be for the winter, but haven't met other naturists to go beach hopping. I must admit this is the first time I've joined a naturist organization which I hope opens up communication with other like minded people. My friends who accept clothes free activities are all in WA.

I went out by myself here and was a little embarassed to be propositioned at a beach off Magen's Bay. I know sometimes people are rude enough to be so confrontational, and it definitely was awkward. I kindly told him not interested and left. Been exploring remote areas of other beaches, but it feels kinda wierd not having friends around. I understand the one popular clothing optional beach, Salomon Bay, has patrols fining people for nude sunbathing, but haven't gone yet to find out, maybe today.

Anyone have suggestions on meeting a few other people out here for some clothes free beach picnicking and sunnin'.

I don't have my passport yet, so can't hop to the BVI or Jamaica where I know of some naturist resorts and clothing optional beaches. Plus I have to conserve my dollars so not sure how economically feasible it'd be for me.

anxious to meet more like minded people.

    stay well

Wanted to also send early word about the Naked Film Festival, May 14th and 15th in Seattle. Put on by BodyFreedom they'll have screenings at 911 Media Arts Center and the Seattle Art Museum. Plan to be back by then for sure! -gd

I have recently found that the exchange rate for US dollars to British pounds is unfavorable for the US at this time.

Hey thanks for the search engine connects on BVI and Jamaica passport, and the exchange cheatsheet. Most helpful.

Glad to be a part of a great website and community of people.
