suntan lotion

I'll be going to a nudist resort in Central Florida and a beach later on. My wife won't go with me so what is the correct/polite way to get someone to put suntan lotion on your back or is that a NoNo?

Also any suggestions on getting my wife to try nudism...I haven't tried it yet because I haven't been to a location yet...
