just dive right in there and enjoy it! once you get nude you'll fit right in with the crowd!! many concerns i had on my first social nude visit did not happen. i just enjoyed the day and being social with others.Comment

It's a great place! I've been there before and enjoyed it. The trail is great and so is the pool. I was there at a time that there weren't many people so I can't say if they are friendly or not. If you want a great trip, I'd suggest Serendipity Park in Cleveland which is a little further up. I can definately tell you that they are by far the nicest people that I have met. Unless you're under 18, just DO IT. Just go and enjoy. You're only given one life to live, and if you're hit by a bus tomorrow, going to this place is something you "didn't do*.
You're not joining a terrorist goup -- you're going to a nudist place.

Respectfully, Journeyman, it obviously is a big thing for NewandNude or they wouldn't have posted! My advice? Go for it! It takes seconds to take off that final piece of clothing and not much longer than that to wonder what all the fuss was about. If you do feel uncomfortable/embarrased/whatever, just get dressed again.

The first time you do something different whether it is taking ones clothes off in front of others or trying a new sport it is always more difficult than any later times. And once we build up the courage to try something new we always wonder why we didn't try that much earlier instead of taking so long procrastinating.
If you try something and dont like it just strike that from things to do in the future.
But I am sure that when you do get naked in front of others for the first time it wont be long before you will be encouraging others on this site to do the same.Comment

Like the others have already said, Just go for it. I went to my first nudist venue about a month ago. Any nervousness or fear I might have felt were shed along with my clothes. It just felt so natural and right. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.Comment

Dave, check out Forest Hills, thats where I went for my first time and I keep going back there I love it so much. I have not been there yet on a weekend when there are alot more people do to my work schedual but everybody I have met has been very nice and welcoming. My wife went for the first time a few weeks ago with me there and she enjoyed it. I dont think shes into like I am but still haveing her go was great. I told her the same thing, just do it. I emailed Whispering Oaks the other day since it's about an hour from my house and they said it would be alright if I came up there for the day...
My parents will be out of town for a week in August so thats when Im gonna make my visit to the place.... If everything goes to plan I'll finally get my first social experience which will be great along with being outside nude during the day for the first time... Plus I'll be able to spend a few days nude at home for the whole time which will be great as well... I can't wait....Comment

Make sure you go on a weekend. I made the mistake of going to a resort/club on a weeday and there was really nobody there - it was lonely.Comment
