FIRST TIME VISIT?

So, after reading all the posts and about all of the wonderful places to go....beaches, club..etc. I was wondering where one would recommend for a first time visit? Mind you I will be solo since my wife is not into the scene...yet. I reside in Indianapolis, Indiana and dont know of too much around except for what I have read and discussed privately with other members.
Ideas?? More than likely it would be a day trip. Any thought???

Indy dude, I can't help with going alone.
But my wife likes to camp so that is what we did the first time. It was at Sunshower country club.
I did not have to go alone, you might call them at 765-855-2785

Be advised that some clubs do welcome single visitors and some don't. Some clubs require married visitors to attend with their spouse.

I would approach it differently -- when the weather warms up, ask your wife if she'd take a tour with you. Usually the tours are CLOTHED.

Maybe a day trip isn't the answer. I favor a clothing optional beach over a "resort". The beach is anonymous. You can disrobe when you're ready. Your wife can even stay dressed. The two of you can enjoy the water, the beach, the sunshine.

When you go to a resort, some give "single" males a hard time. Plus, you will be expected to be nude almost immediately. If your wife goes, she cannot use the pool or the spa without being nude.

You will be there with regular members who all know each other. If lucky, you'll be invited to join the conversation.

At the beach, you interact with your partner. Read, listen to music, people watch, etc. Some people are there all the time, some once and a while, some like you are first timers.

It may be easier to get your wife to join if it's a one day visit, she doesn't need to disrobe and nobody asks her her name. It's also better if this doesn't become something you do alone without her.

Try to impress on her that all she will see is just skin and hair. Although the nudity may be discomforting, it's not really threatening.

She can take off as much as you wants. Continue to lay on her stomach. She doesn't have to show anybody anything.

Plan a trip for the east coast, a long weekend will do. Or a trip to Florida two day drive in each direction. Visit a nude beach, take her to Disney World.

You might be surprised.

Burntbuns is right, my wife did not get undresed right away.
Cat stayed in the camper the first day. After dark when no one was out she went to the hot tub with me.
The next day she came out topless we hit the hiking trails, it was just the two of us out there.
We got dresed left to get something for lunch, when we got back she went witth me swimming and then the hot tub! It was day time But cat is not in to it much out side the house yet.

freedom2be we have no c/o resorts in Indy. Depends on how far (Indy dude) wants to go to find one.

If you want to take your wife - take her to a resort (this is not your Q I know) to avoid the gawkers although that won't happen for sure either. As far as going alone, go wherever. The beach is a good place for a single male.

Of course I have a limit on how far I can go. If I am going alone, it has to be a "day business trip" unless I can convince her otherwise. We have limited our travel for business since the kid came along.
