Looking for Nudists In Richmond, Virginia

I'm a 22-year-old nudist in Richmond. I'm pretty new to the nudist scene, but I'm ready to make some naturists friends. I'm also trying to get my friends into the nudist scene, and I think if they met some other nudists they'd know it's very natural.

I have my own home, but no backyard. It would be great to make some friends and find a place to spend the weekends nude.

Drop me a line, anyone, men, women, young and old. Also, you don't have to be in Richmond, but it would be great to know some local nudists.

Am also in the Richmong area, Mechanicsville. Is very hard to find other nudists here for sure! Maybe we can all meet at some time.

WTR is packed with young guys and gals this weekend. We came home last night. The Hall was packed for the show and dance. Campers all over the fields around the Hall.

Apparently - there are a lot of folks in the Richmond area, who either aren't aware of White Tail Resort -- or have little interest in visiting. yngblknudist, however, indicates that HE will probably visit there, if he hasn't already. And good for him!

Which is, of course, unfortnuate for those that won't try it. Perhaps I should challenge them to visit the website -

It's one of the clubs my wife and I would like to visit if/when we ever get down that way. It looks pretty awesome.

I am sitting here in my camper at WTR as I write this. This has been a fantastic Memorial Day weekend at White Tail with people coming from all over the east coast. You Richmond folks need to come on down and join the fun. Next weekend is our annual Art Show and open house. If you haven't been here before, now is the time to visit. The cost for first time visitors is nothing, and except in the pool and hot tub, clothing is optional until 4:00 in the afternoon. So if you're curious or interested, see you at the open house. I met a gentleman who has gone to WTP and was not treated very well. He came alone, but had to pay for his wife who was not with him, or not be admitted. He also would not have been allowed to come in had he been single. This is according to the statements he made to me. I personally cannot attest to this where I was not there.

Yet I have heard similar comments from single men that called WTP or went there for a visit.

I've been thinking about heading to White Tail this next weekend for the open house.

But, tomorrow, I have the day off, and I've heard about this spot along the Anna River where nudists gather. Anyone interested in checking it out with me? Just drop me a Private Message. I'll be around all night and tomorrow morning. It would be great to spend the day nude along the river.

There were numerous single men there this past weekend. I didn't see anybody getting hassled.
I have seen married and single persons of BOTH sexes escorted out at various times over the years. In every instance, it was due to inappropiate language, actions, and/or behavior.
I never heard of singles getting in a bind for being single. Not in or of itself.

As Walt posted, there are rules of etiquite and behavior. And they are ALL common sense, common curtursy (?). They are same rules that are supposed to apply to all civilized people whether at a resort, or in their own neighborhood.

This is a typical "I heard from a friend" or "I read on the Internet" or "Someone told me" or "A friend of a friend said"....

Why not check it out yourself, for yourself.

In a word...ABSURD!!! Bob Roche, the owner of White Tail, is a single male. As long as I have been a member (also a single male), Bob has been extremely singles friendly. However, if anyone, male, female, single, married, gay or straight does not know how to behave in a social nudist setting AND chooses not to inform his or her self BEFORE going to White Tail or any other nudist venue, then they have only themselves to blame for being unwelcome. WOW, what a concept....personal responsibility. Of course it's always easier to blame the club, or to pass along stories of which one has no personal knowledge.
