I'm a 35 year old male in Central Florida who is single. I'd really like to find a companion who is interested or into Naturism,. I've tried looking at some web dating sites but they mainly appear to be false or pornographic sites masking as a singles site.

I wish I could help you on this, but I have trouble with the same thing. There are nudist singles sites but they seem to be either sexually oriented, strange (ie. couples looking for a threesome is not unusual), or unpopulated. In spite of this I have signed up with some of the sites in hopes of finding a REAL person who isn't just interested in sex, but I haven't had much success. I've been told by many that our best bet is to be out in the landed and non-landed clubs and get to know people there. Sorry I couldn't share much hope with you, but this is what I've found. I've also found that they cost too much since they generally want about $30 to $40 per month to join. The ones I have seen are populated by men looking for women, and very few women looking for men.

Melissa, too bad you're so young and so far away. We could at least meet if nothing else.

will bring you right to the singles ads. Actually you don't even have to be single to post an ad, some couples post looking for other couples or whatever, and some post just looking for friends.

There is a messageboard (not much there because it crashed) and there are free singles ads. The great part about the ads is that anyone can read them and write you an email.

I am a 44 yo sm and I am having the same problem.I dont belong to any landed clubs because most of their events r on weekends when I work. I mostly go to nude beaches in cape cod and the ledges in vt.I guess I just have to keep trying. I hope to see some of u at the ENG at Eastover. Im the one with sponge bob on my tent. hojo24

For those who wonder if anyone ever meets at the nude beachs, in less than a year, thanks to a very bad hair day on his part and a tacky pick-up line on his part, my fiance use on me, we will be living proof that it is possible...gals, and guys, you never know where someone will be...in our case, it just happened to be at a nude beach on a somewhat cool winter day and nude.

We both laugh about the tacky pick-up line he used, and thus have decided to have it written somewhere on the wedding cake next April.

Here is another word of advise for those who are looking... Don't look so hard!!! I think that is where we were finally able to find each other...to be frankly honest, I had more than my share of stuff going on in my life, and so did he, and to make it even more challenging, I had just changed jobs, and he lived 3 hours away on a normal traffic day...he is the one moving closer to me, for those who are wondering, who is doing the major move in our relationship. Oh, and he is the one who also is gonna be changing jobs while I continue to commute into mine from where I am at until we both find a house we like somewhere closer to my job...something too he had decided to do before we met...was to move further south towards the area I currently live in...

I found the woman who is my soulmate (and is a nudist) at Match.com, though I also signed up with 3 other dating sites. I agree that the major dating sites that adverise themselves as "nudist" oriented are just sex sites, but if you use the search term "nudist" or "naturist" in the regular dating sites you come up with the people who list that way, but I just made it clear that nudism is part of my life and Kip found me (there was no mention of it in her profile). With a nickname that includes "xxx" in it, though, women will assume that its sex you're out for and you'll immediately eliminate all the good ones.

I have ads on sites including match.com for about a year and still havent had any responses(yes,i have a picture to).I apost as a naturist and it doesnt seem to work. Maybe people r to conservative where I live. As for meeting on nude beaches, I like to go to secluded nude beaches so I very rarely meet anyone there,especially since I go in the middle of the week.I havent had weekends off in almost 18 yrs except for vacations. I would just like to have a decent relationship before I die.I am still an upbeat person as Im always helping out my family and neighbors. I have used dating sites and the secret seems to be to do a good job describing yourself. All the ads that only say, "I like long walks, bubble baths and candlelight" aren't very helpful.

It's good to meet the person as soon as you can arrange it (in a safe place). There are too many chatroom posers. You need to be face to face, listening to tone of voice, body language, etc.

I like Match.com. It has a few weirdos on its pages, but a well-written thoughtful ad tends to attract the right sort of people.

I tried e-Harmony, but their system doesn't work for me.
