Mira Vista, been there a couple of times. Great place to relax and good food. If they dont have any special events going on theres not too much to do other than hanging out at the pool.

I would echo Bare in the Desert's comments on Mira Vista. It is "nice" but, as my son stated, "ain't nuthing goin on there" It is, however, relaxing to just hang with other folks who were all very nice. We live in Scottsdale and much prefer the short drive over to Shangra La to the 2 hour treck "down south".

Justnude, I agree with you. Mira Vista is OK, but it's nothing to write home about. I prefer going to Shangri-La myself. Too bad we don't have more resorts in southern AZ.

Are there more familys with young kids that go to Shangri-LA? Kids and I enjoy the pool at Mira-Vista just wished they had more family's with young kids there to hang out with.
