Telling parents what if....?

for all of you that hasn't told your parents that you are a nudist. what would you do if you told your parents and they said they would like to try it too? Me, i can't imagine being nude with my parents, it would be weird. I would like it if my friends wanted to be nude with me, but not my parents. does anyone feel that way?

Why would being nude with your parents be 'weird'?
Why be nude with friends and not family?

I have heard these 'reasons' for years but have never gotten a reasonable explaination as to why.
Could you elaborate?

I think it would be great to be a part of a naturist family that extended over several generations. I dont' think it would be weird at all.

im thinkin like now. yeah it would be great to grow up that way. i don't know it would just seem weird to me.

You won't even notice them. Teens and parents often come to WTP together for their 1st. family nude stint. They strip, glance once at each other, then go about their activities. Nudists do not tend to look at each other's bodies,etc. Eye contact is the norm. Sorry if that seems too easy, but it's the short answer. You'll be comfortable. Remember, they've already seen you, LOTS of times. You've seen themwhen younger. It's not a big deal.

I would probably wind up taking them on a vacation to a nudist resort, or get them to try it around the house.

Of course, I've already decided that I'll tell my parents in the hope that they won't think I'm doing anything else worse.

I am 28 and never went to a naturist resort but i think i would be confortable eventually. I agree with nekkihead,I would feel weird if my parents were naked with me as well. I dont have kids, but would probably feel unconfortable around my teen-aged daughter for example. I have little rational explaination for this since obviously many other naturist would be parents of someone or kids of somebody as well. It would be weird if i was there with my older sister as well. It may have something to do with being anonymous. If you make friends with other naturist it would be kinda like being friends with your Doctor. He/she has to see you naked and the trust is there that would keep an exam private. Your parents or sister, it would just be weird because they were always very prudish and would be odd. Strangely, my older brothers would be okay with since when I was younger, they would walk to the bathroom naked sometimes.

It depends on the habits of the household you grew up in, many people don't cover up at home, I was married to an complete and utter prude, but the children saw both of us naked, nothing to hide at all. it was only me that was happy to be naked most of the time as my ex's prudity that rubbed off on the children. Even though my daughter(10) was aghast at the idea of being seen, she saw nothing wrong with the two of us undressing in a family cubicle at a swimming pool.

Parental perceptions rub off on children, so if you want your children to feel the freedom that nudism brings you, don't hide behind clothes and they grow up seeing you naked and see it as being normal,.........which it is of course.

Why would it be awkward for you to be nude with your parents?
Unfortunately my parents were very conservative, so nudism wasn't an option. However, once I started thinking that I wanted to try it, I always wished that my Mom would want to try it too, so that I would have someone close to me to share the experience with, whether we would go to resorts & beaches together, or just be nudists around the house.

Yeah... it would be fairly strange for me, even if just because the last time my parents or I had seen each other nude.... was probably 10 :P
