  • Camps?

I live in NY and my parnts want to send me to a camp over the summer but they cannot find a camp that will except naturists. I am very new to the forum and I was wondering if anyone knows of any camps in the New York state that allows nudists.

The nudist camps for kids are in Florida, Arizona and Texas. It appears the one in Virginia will be illegal before too long.

To become a part of these camps your family needs to belong to AANR.

There are nudist camps in New York but not for kids and teens.

        Bryant Rudy...

You might want to check out the Farm and Wilderness Camps in Vermont, not too far from you.

They aren't nudist, exactly. But they are very accepting of nudity, at the waterfront and a few other places.

        Their web site is http://www.fandw.com.

        Hope this helps.

I usually check www.CHEEF.com when I want to quickly search for a nudist facility. I Mapquested Kingston, NY to see exactly where you are. From your location, (off the top of my head, I think)that makes you closest to
          Juniper Woods http://www.juniperwoods.com/
and not much farther away from Berkshire Vista http://www.berkshirevista.com/
Coming from my end of the state, others are closer, but I have heard good things about both of them.

To get good, current information on the AANR regional camps, I suggest your parents contact AANR directly. They can get the info, have their questions answered, and get an application. I hope it works out for you to participate.

A note, the AANR camps that cyndiann mentioned are for families who are members of the AANR and an AANR-affiliated nudist park/group.

I wonder when the implementation date of that impending law would be? The two starting dates for most non-emergency laws are Jan. 1 and July 1. It could be set to begin at Jan. 1.

One more point... AANR and it's regions (especially FANR) pay for quite a few of those kids to attend those camps. This means that many can go that would not have been able to because of their finanial situation.
